GoogleI bought an apartment from Reeds Rains. From viewing till completion I have to say they are very professional and responsive. As buying a property will have many parties involved in, for me I do feel solicitors are a big headache to deal with. The branch manager, Lisa, helped me from the very beginning till the end, not only about small things, but also dealing with both side solicitors. I want to say big thank you ~

GoogleTo be honest, probably the most helpful and kind team of agents I've spoken to. I've been renting for over 7 years now, each year I get a new place live so I've delt with my fair share of agents. Lisa in particular has been super helpful in making sure the process goes smoothly and offered additional apartments to view in which one of them I decided to go with. GoogleFrom the start of looking for a rented apartment through to moving in, I cant fault Shaunna. She responded to an email where no other letting company did. Trying to sort this out 180 miles away was challenging but it was generally smooth with the odd hiccup which was resolvable. I am incredibly impressed with everything she did to make the transition as smooth as possible.

GoogleTenant for 2 years, moved out recently in Aug. Would actively avoid them in the future. As mentioned by a reviewer below, I find that there are too many departments within the company with breakdown in communication between them. When problems arise, it's always 'this is not under us, please ring/email someone else'. Here's a few issues I've had: - Deposit amount reduced on certificate (due to new regulations) but actual amount not returned until few months later after sending a few emails - Told that I would be charged a 'cleaning' fee for things like cooker hood which was clearly noted as unclean on the original inventory. When pointed out it was unclean when I moved in, was told that it was still my responsibility to hand it back clean, regardless of the state it was in before. Presumably previous tenant was also charged a 'cleaning' fee but not sure where this went to as no one did additional cleaning when I moved in. - No news on returning of my deposit for 3 weeks after moving out, had to raise a dispute and finally received my deposit back in full. - Had a maintenance issue (reported via their online portal) that caused an incident in the flat and when feedback to the branch, response was they had no record of the maintenance issue online rather than we'll find out what went wrong. Chased up other maintenance issues reported the same way and was told by the maintenance team via phone that the online portal was not reliable and I should ring everytime. I stayed due to the location and general condition of the flat. Now that I've moved out, I would never use this agency again and would not recommend them to anyone. Tip: Unless your curtains look like they've been freshly laundered, always ensure any marks/stains/dust/discolouring is reported in the inventory or they will charge you for curtain cleaning as well.

GoogleThe best experience I have ever had with a letting agent. Lisa the branch manager was responsive, helpful and so friendly. Considering the current climate and the difficulties this has put on renting we haven’t struggled in the slightest, it has been a smooth easy process and that wasn’t what I expected! We were offered the zero deposit guarantee which was extra helpful with financial uncertainty at the moment. GoogleDuring these uncertain times things have been hard trying to find places to live as a lot of agencies have been hard to get hold of. However Lisa at Reeds Rains has been wonderful, she has really helped me and my partner find a lovely 1 bed apartment, and since this is our first outside student accommodation, she has been so helpful and has always been at the other end of the phone or email if we needed her (even when the offices were closed and everyone was working from home).
