Working in the industry myself and dealing with multiple other estate agents around Sheffield I can hand on heart day that Tom is by a country mile the best chap I have dealt with. Every query is responded to within minutes and I have been kept up to date during the whole process. I 100% recommend Reeds Rains in S1. Absolutely outstanding service!

GoogleI met with Lisa for my initial viewing who was very friendly and helpful. She made me feel very comfortable using reeds and reassured me they are a company I could trust. I then finalised the rental with a lady called Skye who has gone above and beyond to walk me through the process as I have never rented a property before. Excellent customer service and very professional from both and I can’t thank them enough! I would highly recommend and I will definitely use them again in the future!

GoogleMyself and my boyfriend have been dealing with Reeds Rains for just over a month and have had our emails ignored over and over again. The moving process was made stressful by this as it was tough to communicate and enquire about any further details. It seemed that they became uninterested after we signed the lease for the flat, which is a shame. We have also been waiting over 5 weeks to receive a second fob for our building and have had to rely on each other to be in to get in and out causing an inconvenience to us. We have tried to reach out and enquire several times and each time the staff seem clueless about our issue and there seems to be communication problems across the company.

GoogleThis review was originally posted in summer 2018. The staff at Reeds Rains are very friendly and mean well, but have often proven to be a little unreliable. Confirming our property ahead of moving in took more work from us than expected and became very stressful. Some actions took several phone calls to follow up, and there was occasionally confusion as to whether some staff were in the office or not. Upon signing our tenancy, we discovered they have a separate and centralised maintenance service, which we hope will resolve some of our issues moving forwards. [Update: the maintenance service was not as helpful as expected.] This review is based on the period from enquiring to first moving into/letting a property, and not a lengthy tenancy with RR.

GoogleUnacceptable and unprofessional. They do not respond to emails. We had a move in day set more than 15 days ago and on the morning that we were supposed to move in they say that the "electricity certificate" is not valid and that they were "under the impression" that it was valid. Meanwhile we have arranged to vacate the house by the next day. So now we are left without a house for God knows how many days.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism
We are sorry to receive your one star review and appreciate the inconvenience that this has put you under. Sadly we are reliant on landlords providing us with accurate paperwork and ensuring their properties are compliant, in this instance we were also let down. I can see there has been a lot of communication both by email and phone on a daily basis to you. We have provided the landlord with solutions and finally hope to reach a resolution by the end of the week, where the property can be handed over to you fully compliant.

They arranged for a viewing immediately, got the paperwork sorted out the same day and even paid for an electrical safety test to speed things up.
