The best experience I have ever had with a letting agent. Lisa the branch manager was responsive, helpful and so friendly. Considering the current climate and the difficulties this has put on renting we haven’t struggled in the slightest, it has been a smooth easy process and that wasn’t what I expected! We were offered the zero deposit guarantee which was extra helpful with financial uncertainty at the moment. During these uncertain times things have been hard trying to find places to live as a lot of agencies have been hard to get hold of. However Lisa at Reeds Rains has been wonderful, she has really helped me and my partner find a lovely 1 bed apartment, and since this is our first outside student accommodation, she has been so helpful and has always been at the other end of the phone or email if we needed her (even when the offices were closed and everyone was working from home). First time in the UK and in Sheffield, we have experienced the most frustrated service from Reeds Rains Sheffield. We decided to take a flat. They collected our info and told me the application form would be sent for the reference checking to be processed (which takes a week). This caused us to extend our temporary stay which is expensive. Then, no response back from them. Trying to call the agent many times which turned out they told me the flat had been rented by another people. This is TERRIBLE SERVICE ever. Waste our time and money!!! Edit: A very prompt response from Lisa, the branch manager to explain the problem. I hope you will improve the effectiveness in customer communication. Other than that, arrangement for viewing is great.

The agency is a joke. I rang to arrange the viewing, have been told we will contact our agent and contact you in a bit. Didn't hear any answer so rang them the next day and they said sorry for that if you want there is some viewing already arranged at 4:15 today so if you want you can join. I went there and any question I had the agent didn't have a clue and was ment to send me an email with all the answers. I have been waiting few days now and still nothing. What a shame, I was really interested in the apartament.

Ben Chapman has been the most accommodating letting agent I’ve used. He was more than happy to arrange a viewing for my partner, who had yet to see the property, despite us already agreeing to take the property.
