Recently, Megan went out of her way to address an issue of sewage leak on my behalf even though it was not espected of her, but because it was an emergency, she tackled it professionally. I called the sewage company and was told the leak was from the neighbour's property next door and was reassured that it had taken care of and I had nothing to worry about. One of the most unprofessional and unresponsive estate agents I have come across. The property we rented for over three years had a number of urgent repairs including a leaking bath (which was rotting the joists and and the timber deck under the tiles- the floor squelched!) which they did not seem concerned by and did not fix in the time we lived there. They also tried to take some of our deposit despite not having any evidence to support this (we left the house in better condition than we found it). Our emails and calls were repeatedly ignored throughout our tenancy and after we left (we had zero communication about the return of our deposit). If you want your property maintained by an estate agent, do not use this company! Ours was fully managed and they did a terrible job at fixing things -repairs will not get done in a reasonable time frame and will result in more unnecessary damage. If you are a tenant and want a decent water tight house that isn’t falling apart- I would not choose haybrooks, unless you have no other options.

As a landlord, I came to Haybrooks for support in managing my property and advice and assistance with tenants and renting When I went in to their office, I spoke with a very professional woman by the name of Megan Hodson and because of deafness, receiving advice about complex situations can take some time However when dealing with Megan, I did not even notice, she made it that easy and was very patient and friendly (I was stressed about a situation with a tenant, but Megan’s confidence and professionalism, put me at ease) she helped me draft the communication with the tenant and she seemed knowledgeable on UK Property Law I would like to sincerely praise Megan for her assistance on Thursday 4th July 2019, when she dealt with my problem, both in her manner of approach (because of my significant hearing loss, my speech is not always the easiest to understand, but Megan was very calm and patient at listening to me and spending the time to understand all aspects of my issue and then explaining it in terms I could fully understand to help me solve the problem myself) Through Megan’s attitude and approach, I didn’t even feel that I had difficulty hearing, as I can often feel sometimes, due to her excellent all-round communication skills I cannot praise her highly enough, and would like to highlight this to her immediate boss and if I was her boss, I would not let her leave because she is a great asset

I have been letting out my house through Haybrooks for about 3 years and the customer service I have received has always been fantastic. I am a somewhat reluctant landlord and a worrier and the team at Haybrooks have always put my mind at rest. Initially, finding great tenants and guiding me through the letting process, and latterly advising me on extending contracts and maintenance issues. As a worrier, I normally end up calling the office a few times in the same day/ week whenever there is house business to be dealt with and the team always put my mind at rest. Most recently, the neighbours of my house got in touch as the boiler was making loud noises and disturbing them. I look after the maintenance at my house but in this instance Haybrooks were able to assist me in getting in touch with the tenants and arranging for a plumber to attend. I have a new baby and a toddler so I was so grateful for the help. I mostly dealt with Meg but I also spoke to Katie and Dan and they were all lovely and so efficient and knowledgable. I always recommend Haybrooks as a brilliant letting agents and it is a huge weight off my mind to know that they are always so brilliant at helping with any situations. Thank you all!
