Lola has been consistently updating me throughout the process and always picking up the phone whenever I needed to ask about anything making it all completely stress free. What a great Estate Agents, they actually do what they say they are going to do. Always phone you back when you leave a message and the whole team work as a team from the Manager down. Provide you with helpful advice and refreshingly it is quite obvious they care about the job and the people they are dealing with. We dealt with a number of estate agents when we were looking to buy a property and we found Holly Marsden and the team at Haybrooks in Hillsborough (also Helen and Dan) to be excellent; Holly was very proactive in telephoning us with new properties to the market, really easy to deal with, and she also went to a lot of trouble to get us appointments to view places which eventually led to us making an offer on a property listed with Haybrooks. If we ever sell our property, we'll definitely contact Holly and the team at Haybrooks and list with them.

After dealing with multiple agencies in our house hunt we quickly came to the realisation that not every estate agent is in your corner. As first time buyers everything was new to us. We kept getting the same treatment from multiple agencies which consisted on Nobody calling to advise us of property matches, nobody calling us to advise of new properties available, nobody Returning our phone calls, the list goes on. As first time buyers it’s not easy going into a situation blind and feeling out of your depth. I can hand on heart say that Susan Smyth at Haybrooks was the only consistent agent who took the time who advise us, guide us and reassure us that when the time was right we would find our home. I truly felt that Sue really was routing for you and was the only agent we came across that actually spoke to us like a human being. Sue was promt In returning our calls, we had daily contact on properties available and she would always work round our schedule to fit us in for viewings. After eventually purchasing our home with another agent, Sue even had the decency to congratulate us and offered further help and assistance if we needed it. I believe that people like Sue should be recognised for their hard work and dedication and not to mention her outstanding professionalism!

Excellent service from all at Haybrooks!! A big thankyou to all concerned. Sold my house within a few days of going on market and had plenty of viewings in such a short time. The service is first class, especially from Helen Dyson who kept me regularly informed of details throughout the sale, in addition to offering useful advice that was welcome, especially if you’re not used to the house selling process!!! Would highly recommend Haybrooks to anyone. A special mention also to Linda Stringer who explained how it would work in full prior to the house going on sale, again, very helpful. Having just sold my mothers home through Haybrook Hillsborough, I can't express the relief and lack of stress having gone through one of the more reliable 'bricks and mortar' estate agencies. Online agencies and their zero commission offerings look like a good deal until you add up all the fees and for the small difference in cost (remember, you are selling your home, it's a big thing) having a local agency with real human beings handle the 'bumps' in the process it's crazy trying to penny pinch. The house was on the market quickly and presented honestly (thank you Linda), we had offers coming in within 10 days, and accepted within 2 weeks. Unfortunately the buyers solicitors weren't the smoothest contributers to the sale, but over the entire length of the process Haybrooks kept the ball rolling for us, with an extra push from Sam and Helen at the end to make sure it all happened, thank you so much. An extra special thank you to Sue who was our main contact from beginning to end, smoothed the bumps over and made dealing with Haybrooks and a house sale about as stress-free and easy as possible. Many thanks again Haybrooks Hillsborough.

Well - what can I say? After a none to auspicious start where I was having to ask them for details - my case was picked up by Helen Dyson - what an absolute star she is. I appear to have chosen the worst Conveyancing Company (Harmony - who do do the job - they just don't bother to tell you what they are doing, when or where - but hey that's another review) I should just have asked Helen to do it and paid her. From the get go of finding me a buyer, negotiating the price for me she has been brilliant. Since her taking up my sale - she has kept me up to date - 120% of the time. She has helped me when I got stuck with anything AT ALL and advised me on everything that my solicitors were supposed to be doing - but not telling me about. This allowed me to chase them and tell them that this or that was expected from them by the buyer's solicitors (Mr Haynes I am sooooo very sorry). I actually bought this flat through this estate agents and was so impressed even then that I went back to them when I decided to sell it 3 years later. I have now asked them to look for the next one for me - because I now have every faith in their abilities to help both the buyer and the seller - 11/10 for effort 12/10 for keeping me almost sane throughout this whole process. If Helen is an example of the rest of their staff - 5 stars just isn't enough.

I chose a different estate agent before I came to haybrooks just because they were cheaper and I wish I hadn't bothered as they lost my excitement in moving home. I had a call from Linda from haybrooks one day and just on a whim agreed for her to come and value my home. I haven't looked back since. She restored my faith in estate agents and got my excitement back. She valued my home fairly and took time in taking photos of my home which looked fantastic. I was very pleased with the end result. She talked me through what would happen next and how they advertised my home and made me feel excited once again. When we found a home for us to move to and sold ours Helen was then our point of contact and I have to say nothing is too much trouble for her. She keeps you updated,she chases constantly for things and is totally on the ball. She has reduced my stress of the move and I can't thank her enough. All the people at haybrooks are welcoming, friendly, helpful and the customer service is one of the best. So if anyone is in any doubt weather to choose these I would highly recommend them. Yes they are not one of the cheapest but you get what you pay for and i am in no doubt that if I ever move again they will be my first and only choice. Thank you haybrooks x

Thank you to all the team at Haybrook Hillsborough. Linda and Sue were really helpful on their initial visit before we'd even decided that we would sell our home with Haybrook. Once we'd decided to sell our home with Haybrook Linda came and took some fabulous photos and gave us much needed advice about selling our home and how to manage our time scales. It was then over to Jo, our sales negotiator who kicked into action once all the photographed and on-line marketing had been completed. Then Jo our sales negotiator was really efficient at arranging the viewing around our pre-booked holiday and my working hours. Jo and Linda were at the end of the phone when we needed them and once bidding on our home got really frantic Jo was in contact out of office hours to help us make the best decision for the sale of our home. All the team at Haybrook Hillsborough have been fantastic and made what could been a stressful time a really positive and great personal experience for us. Haybrook Estate Agents (Middlewood) have done a great job selling my house. The valuation was at the market value without any fuss, and the wider office team even visited my house so they were able to answer customer questions with honest fist hand experience of the property. There was always someone on hand to answer questions or take messages for the right person to call back. The team were easy to talk to and throughout all our dealings they provided honest Yorkshire feedback, which is what I asked for, and made selling my house a lot less stressful than it would have otherwise been. I would have no hesitation in using Haybrook again, or recommending them to others.

Me and my brother chose Haybrook as our Estate Agent when we had the valuation done by Linda, we knew it was the right choice for us. Linda is lovely and very enthusiastic, she was very honest with us and answered any questions that we had to ask. Me and my partner have been dealing with Haybrook to purchase our first house. Right from our initial meeting with mortgage adviser Daniel, to being shown around properties by Linda & Sally, and then our offer being accepted, the service has been fantastic. The estate agent team are professional & personable and have kept us updated right throughout the process, which for a first time buyer especially, can be extremely stressful and daunting. Someone always answered our calls in the office and when the lady in charge of negotiating the property we were interested in (Sue) was out of office, she always phoned us back promptly, they clearly care about their job and their clients. I chose Haybrook as my Estate Agent at the beginning because of the enthusiasm of all the staff, particularly Linda. Once I got a valuation Jo and Sue kept me informed of viewings etc. When an acceptable offer was made Helen has been in touch constantly keeping me up to date on the progress. She has kept me informed of any request made by the purchasers solicitor and by the purchaser himself. All the staff have been most helpful and courteous at all times. My partner and I have spent the last 6+ months searching for a family home, having sold our property since the birth of our daughter. This was becoming a very tiring and stressful experience, viewing various houses and each time going to best and final offers where we kept losing out. Helen and Holly were very helpful in the whole process of the purchase of my flat. I recommend Haybrook highly for both sellers and buyers from my impression as a buyer. All queries were answered on the viewing of the flat, a morning time before 10 was available for the viewing which meant I could do it on a weekday without taking any time off work. Holly should me round and she was very friendly and helpful. Holly was also the one to deal with my initial bid process and was informative of the sellers requirements and the property situation enabling me to bid the correct amount. Helen assisted in the processing of my purchase after my bid was accepted by the seller, helping chase solicitors and keep the whole process moving. She provided informative updates of the process and her best to ease it and keep all parties working/moving towards completion, which due to the management company of the flat I purchased was not made easy. They were happy to move the keys to the Haybrook branch in town for collection after completion, which really helped as it meant I did not have to take the day off work for the completion date. All in all they provided a great service and I recommend highly.

Impressively short time taken to find tenants and arrange tenancy

The lettings team have been very responsive - Rebecca Wormald was particularly impressive when she first came out to see the property and discuss letting. Little things have arisen, as they do, in the course of preparing for the tenancy, but given the short time it took for Haybrook to find the tenants and let the property at the proposed price, they are insignificant. I am grateful for a relatively smooth experience as a landlady for the first time in many years!
