GoogleDO NOT TRUST THE LETTINGS TEAM!!! Preston Baker do not conduct thorough background checks. The tenant that was recommended to us was a 'professional tenant' who we later had to evict. Preston Baker were no help in pursuing our rental arrears and only after the tenant had been evicted did we receive a PDF file titled 'xxxReferenceFail.' Why would Preston Baker source a tenant that had failed his reference check? Well, they still charge a full management fee regardless of whether the landlord is receiving any rent!! So there's no incentive on their part to find a suitable tenant - more just to get any tenant in quickly and keep their fees. And their complaints procedure is a joke! Cowboys.
Dear Mr Cooksey, As you are aware we are in the processing of dealing with your complaint in line with our Ombudsman approved in house complaints procedure. You received a response to your initial complaint some months ago and made no further contact until you re-raised the matter with us a little over a week ago. Following our response to you this morning, the matter will be escalated internally inline with our complaints procedure, where a full investigation will be carried out and our full and final viewpoint issued, which we sincerely hope will facilitate a resolution to your complaint. However should you still feel the complaint has not been resolved you will then be able to raise the matter with the Ombudsman. As noted in your initial complaint you have been a long standing client of Preston Baker’s and had been a vocal advocate of our services until the most recent tenancy which has sadly, been less than satisfactory and led to a souring of what was a previously strong and positive relationship between us. GoogleHow can i begin to describe this business well one word Sensational!. From my initial contact to the sale of my home which had a few hiccups, all was dealt with by Charlotte and Gemma amazingly. The ladies went over and above their job description to ensure my sale completed on time. Having dealt with a few estate agents in the past, none of them compare to the service and customer care i received from Charlotte and Gemma. I cannot speak highly enough about these ladies. If you want to sell your home quickly and effortlessly then I would recommend Preston Baker

GoogleAlthough Preston and Baker were our sellers estate agents they were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble No question was a silly question and was dealt with promptly.We were kept in touch constantly and the team were knowledgable and informative.I hope that this move is our last one but I wouldn’t hesitate to use Preston and Baker if we needed to sell our home again.

GoogleThe service I personally received was below par. If I were to use them again I will definitely be using their 'no win - no fee'. The comms, upsells, valuation and all the other options personally provided to me felt like a bit of an eye wash.
