I was just informed that cannot move in to the property agreed last minute just 5 days before I move in. We had booked the property almost 2 months in advance. We had them calling us almost everyday for references that was sent to them. Lack of costumer service and finding a solution. I would not recomemder them . May I take this opportunity to say that you "Rebecca" (if I am not mistaken you managed to rent my flat in 2013 with a 3 years contract) really did a great job in finding the perfect tennats for my situation. And Mr. Setter, from the management department, has been doing and still is an impressive job regarding the management of my flat. He is always perfectly informed with what is going on, solves issues quickly and every time I deal with him I feel blessed because he is so efficient, helpful and professional.

I had a pleasure dealing with Anneleen Vanloffeld from Alex Neil as a buyer. She dispelled all negative stereotypes of estate agents by being very courteous, informative and very understanding. On couple of occasions she managed to organize viewings on a very short notice, kept me informed throughout and responded my calls, texts, or emails with astonishing speed. Although I wasn't successful in finding the right property Anneleen did all the right things and now I expect other agents to match those standards she set so high.

After 3 emails and a lot of calls they decided to fix the leak too late, then we found mites! in all our clothes. More the 300 pounds spent in dry cleaners that they refuse to pay. Finally we moved to a new flat with a different agency and Alex Neil (not the landlord) want to charge us 150 for a 'professional cleaning' that never existed.. New tenants found the flat in same conditions we left, no one cleaned, how can you charge a service that never happened?? By the way, there was just a key and we made a duplication (they said the landlord would pay for that). I left the receipt in their office but after one year they never paid it, asked for that and they lost it! so they didn´t want to pay the bloody 10 pounds.

Alex Neil have now let and managed by property in Rotherhithe for over 5 years. They have recently found me my 3rd tenant during that period and once again, have performed brilliantly. The most recent let went very smoothly and Alex Neil's proactive marketing meant that the vacant period was kept to an absolute minimum. I was kept up to date with progress from viewings and the offer I accepted was dealt with with professionalism. Thanks to Alex Neil's excellent management team, my property has been very well cared for throughout the 5 years they've looked after it. The few maintenance matters that have occurred in that time have been dealt with swiftly and economically, and the work carried out has always been of the highest standard. I look forward to another 5 years or more with Alex Neil!

Broken window from previous tenants not listed on their pre move in check (we tried to rectify)now 6 months later we receive an email asking how we broke the window.
