Forced to make a formal complaint over their (lack of) management of our property whilst we were overseas our complaint was upheld by the TPO which said it "supported the complaint that has been made and consider the circumstances merit an award of compensation. My award will reflect the avoidable aggravation, distress and inconvenience caused to the Complainant". The award was woefully inadequate to cover the loss we incurred as a result of the very low bar set for "management". I wouldn't ever use CLC again.

If you are a landlord, avoid using this company at all costs. They have washed their hands of damage costing up £4000 to our property. They do not take responsibility or liability for work done through their workmen in your absence. I stand by my review. Approach Corporate Letting with EXTREME CAUTION as a landlord. They are over confident and do not have the experience to deal with a high level let. The arbitrator abides by basic standards. You can not rely on this agent to pick up on tenant changing light fittings, redecorating, installing new fixtures to walls nor following up on the quality and satisfactory completion of maintenance work. Expect the very minimal level of service at best. Tip: ask to see examples of their inspection reports for similar level properties before entering an agreement. I have spoken to many local friends and acquaintances in Richmond who are shocked to hear the details of how they have managed our let.

It was an entirely pleasant experience working with The Corporate Letting Company during our two years staying at one of their managed properties. Each one of the agents is courteous, professional, polite, responsive and solution orientated. Emails and phone enquiries are dealt with promptly. We had some time challenges on our side when leaving the property, and The CLC was very flexible and proactive in suggesting solutions on how to get everything done in a timely and cost-orientated manner. I would recommend the CLC any time for tenants and landlords.

I can't recommend TCLC enough. We have been renting from them for over 2 year's and have found both Fiona and Alex extremely honest, helpful and professional at all times. From viewing the apartment to dealing with paperwork and requests, it is truly one of the greatest letting companies out there. We have felt safe and certain that everything will be handled well. Alex and Fiona have been nothing but professional, helpful and always there to explain even the silliest questions we have. We have just purchased a flat through The Corporate Letting Company. As overseas residents, we took a chance and made an offer on the property without seeing it in person. Whatever reservations we may have had were quickly cast aside as Tim and Alex provided us with all relevant information on the property, including a detailed video walk-through (Alex even provided us with specific measurements) and Tim put us in touch with our Solicitor and Surveyor. They were in communication with us throughout the entire process leading up to the closing. We couldn’t hope for a better letting agency. They manage the flat we have been living in for 4 years and have been perfect every single day. I had an exceptional experience with Alex Decmar and The Corporate Letting Company. They are professional, courteous and quick to respond if you need anything. Case in point, I am back in the US and making a home purchase, Alex quickly sent the loan officer a copy of my previous lease and confirmed payments! Forget the "corporate" part of their name as they offer a uniquely personal, warm and caring service to both landlords and tenants. They always have time for you and will go the extra mile to solve any problem, provide advice and work tirelessly to match a property with the right tenant. Furthermore you're never cheated by them: they don't sting you with hidden charges and they are fair in every way.
