I am the owner of the corporate letting company and declare that from the start. My 5 star review, is of course bias, but I need to address the scurrilous review left by Mr Kirkpatrick. Assuming you do not wish to read too much, the true facts (which are readily provable) are that, sadly he turned out to be a far from satisfactory tenant. Regular complaints from the neighbours about noise, lack of care to the property etc. As a result of this the landlord served notice on him to end the tenancy (which incidentally ended 11 months before Mr Kirkpatrick posted his review). Both landlord and tenant agreed for the deposit dispute to go to the independent Tenancy Deposit Scheme and the landlord was awarded £750 of the £1330 claimed. Not quite as suggested by Mr Kirkpatrick. I would not normally go public with such but it is important that any online reviews for any service or product are factually accurate.

Thnak you for the review and, of course we never like to do anything other than excel for both landlords and tenants. The facts here are that your landlord chose not to renew the tenancy with you, after some years, as they wanted to have some renovations completed to the flat and maybe move a family member in. The flat had the renovation completed but was then re-let as the family member chose not to move in. This resulted in a costly two month void period for the landlord. If, with your wholly unreasonable choice of the word threaten, you are referring to the deposit then the tenancy agreement (as all do) allowed for locks to be changed if keys were lost. Keys were lost, the locks were changed on a like for like basis, and this was claimed from your deposit. We consistently had to chase you for your response when dealing with the deposit. Despite your review, we wish you and your family well in your new home.

Terrible customer service would recommend you avoid at all costs! Spoke to Alex who tried to give me a speech about the rental market with pets. Completely incorrect information given and when I tried to explain how this is wrong he got very short. Didn't even end the conversation withe me just put the phone down.

The two properties which you recently enquired about do not allow pets under their head lease, therefore it would have been a complete waste of your time to show them to you. I do understand how frustrating this can be, however, unfortunately, a no pet clause is something which is applicable on many apartment blocks and as agents, we do not have any control over it. However, what we do have control over is the expertise of our staff, our excellent customer service and our knowledge of the industry and in particular head leases of apartments blocks in our area. I am, therefore, more than confident that Alex provided you with the best possible advice and on a final note, as Alex and I share office space, I can definitely confirm that the conversation was not ended abruptly from our end.
