Great experience!

The sales executive at raveloe gardens was amazing!. She was clearly knowledgeable about the property and the area, she was very patient and took her time to explain things. Even after the point of reservation she was always very friendly, quick to respond and always happy to help - nothing was ever too much trouble. She’s made the process so much smoother with her ability to communicate efficiently without being chased.

Terrible service

Just received a call to say that two reduced market price plots have become available. Upon requesting more information with regards to the plots was told that they won't be able to hold it and will be ringing around others.I asked what was required to secure a plot and the answer was "To speak to a financial advisor TODAY". Absolutely horrendous- pressured sales tactic.Extremely strange phone manners and inappropriate approach.

Do not trust taylor wimpy

I have been in my house just over 1 year and I am still having ongoing issues. I have been mislead and lied to by the customer service team and also feel like I’ve been scammed after paying a lot of money for a house on what is supposed to be a “5 star development” they have used terrible quality carpet which they admitted to being faulty and lifting from the backing and agreed to replace it. They replaced the carpet and within a month the same issue started happening again but this time they have said it’s not their problem and won’t do anything to help. Now in every single room the carpet has lifted and bubbles all over which you wouldn’t expect from a new home. After speaking to our neighbours it seems almost everyone has this exact issue and the floor layers themself have told us it’s due to the poor manufacturing. This is the church view estate in MedwayReply: this is the thing, they have said the manufacturers have said it’s not their problem when it is. It’s the exact same issue that happened the first time and now it is constantly spreading further and further through the house, particularly in the more trafficked areas. I asked for a second opinion and Taylor wimpy agreed and then when I heard nothing they refused. Can you contact me with somewhere I can send the photos of the awful quality carpets you’re putting in peoples brand new houses

A house 10+ years down the line

A house 10+ years down the line. Took TW 2 years to resolve all the major issues. The break down on the estate is a nightmare as mulitple companies involved and all want a chunk of money. £50 plus for a freehold house paid in advance.Read the small print as services provided on new build area removed or scaled back. Plans changed. Lack of parking!

Great quality house in the Newcastle area. Small snags dealt with in reasonable timescales. None of our snags were disputed (all were minor though to be honest).Overall good to deal with, don't believe all the horror stories. You need to try and learn about their performance in the local market as the actual builders they use have the biggest effect on your house.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

DO NOT BUY from these people they are very good at lying they told us the house would be ready in May 2022 when we bought the house in August 2021 May came not even started then told June then told July then August, September October now November and we always had to phone them. We had buyers for our home who were willing to wait till our house was ready in June, but we had to move out then because they couldn't wait any longer due to their circumstances. Wimpey threatened us in Feb if we did not get the land registry sorted (they left some of our property off the registration) we were told we had 24 hours to get it sorted and had to pay £500 to get it done quickly all this stress caused my husband to have a bleed on the base of the brain stem which has left him unable to walk and communicate badly, adding to all that stress we had to move into a house that is not suitable for his needs because we could not get anywhere else, are they bothered! NOT IN THE LEAST, the CEO is not interested or any other higher up they leave all the complaints to sales staff who I feel sorry for, they are the ones who have to deal with unhappy customers.

Recently bought a property from Taylor Wimpy Raveloe Gardens. The sales girl Susan lowe has been brilliant, professional and always on hand to answer our questions. The whole process has been a great experience apart from a small hiccup in the last week with missed communication,but was rectified and we received our key promptly. Any small snagging has been rectified and so far we love our new home.
