French drain fitted on one side of garden eventually after 7 touchpoints, 5 complaint emails and endless phone calls. (It’s been a complete nightmare and horrible dealing with TW) The subcontractor who fitted the drain said you will need another French Drain on the other side. I told TW about their and they have just emailed me to say they can’t fit another French Drain. You could make this up. Please please please do not buy a house from TW there aftercare is absolutely horrendous and this is why all there competitors are 5 star builders and TW will never be 5 star again. The last 20 months dealing with TW has been exhausting and had really taken its toll on our family. I need to take this further now and report them how we have been treated.

I made an appointment online intending to view the showrooms. I drove 20 minutes to the site at BS10 and was told there was no showroom I could view. I was given a few leaflets and encouraged to make a decision of purchase as soon as possible. What's the point of making an appointment and going there in person?

Buying our first house should have been the best experience ever. One year down the line and we’re still fighting to get the same issues resolved. The customer services are not responding to phone calls or emails. Although I’ve escalated some issues to the complaint level, I’m still getting the exact same answers from the complaint office. What’s the point? Our staircase has been damaged following an attempted repair by a TW operative. They are now blaming it on me for not having told him how to repair it. The latest was a water leak in our dining room from our bathtub upstairs. It turns out that the bathtub was actually cracked but since I didn’t report it within the first 10 days, they are refusing to take any action. We have young children who have been unable to use their bath for over a month. Their policy of seeing the customer as the enemy is absolutely disgusting, when all we are asking for is to get the defects sorted so that we can fully enjoy our home.Although the initial steps of the purchase went on very smoothly, you have to brace yourselves for the aftersales as they will try to blame any issue on you. My wife and myself are just exhausted by this stressful situation. They’re just trying to wear you down so you just pay for the repair yourself, or you just give up by fear that the repair process might actually cause more damage than the initial issue. No wonder they’ve got this extremely generous dividend policy for their shareholders...

I've moved in for almost 3 years, 6 months ago my neighbor told me that my house was not installed with an air vent in the external wall, as I also saw that most of the houses have been installed with an air vent. Therefore I contacted TW to fix this problem.Even though my 2-year guarantee has been expired, this is one of the specification required and should have been installed before the contract completion. But TW refused to fix this problem for me, the customer service agent called Lamara who is very irresponsible, she takes ages to reply emails and shirks her responsibility, this is not the first time I dealt with her.The last time I asked her to help to fix a small piece of damage tiles inside my en-suite bathroom, it took 1 year finally to get the job done. I feel very bad to this company and the customer service

In a nutshell the houses are lovely even if a little over priced, the builders are talented and the house feels and looks like quality……however getting stuff done once your money becomes their money is painful. We’re a year in and are still getting various things “fixed”. The main issue is some of the staff are just rubbish and some of them just need shooting. Millions of emails…..totally unnecessary and unacceptable.

My experience was made perfect all down to Lizzi and holly hill II site in rossington Doncaster , she couldn’t do enough for me and her knowledge of Taylor Whimpys homes was amazing second to none, I loved her personality and enthusiasm towards her job 10/10I have viewed a few new builds but none compare to Taylor whimpy, there attention to detail is spot on and I can’t wait to move into mine in October 🙌🙌🙌🏡🏡🏡
