Very good experience with everyone at Sansome & George. From the initial valuation, through all the viewings they kept us informed & up to date. After they had found purchasers for my partner's house & mine Barbara took over & dealt with everyone involved in both chains, solicitors etc making sure both sales were completed at the same time & on time. I have to admit Barbara & I got off to a shaky start but I'm so pleased we had here in our corner. She was relentless in getting everything done, she's exactly the person you want doing that job for you. Thank you to all of you for a great job.

I’ve used Sansome &George before, so 25 years later, whilst we did check out the competition, there was no other choice than them. From the start to the finish, it’s been a thoroughly professional, completely delightful experience. They sold two houses not one ( my partner and I were moving in together) and from the smiling and knowledgeable first approach, the high integrity of the process throughout, with everyone we had contact with, right through to bring handed over to ‘Barbara the Lioness’, who treats the vendor and the purchaser ( two in our case), as her cubs, fiercely protective over every part of the process to the benefit of all. Holding those to account that need to be, she brooks no deviation from the goal, which is to see the sale through to a happy outcome for all. A ‘secret weapon’ no less. Both sales completed on the same day, a marvellous example of a team working so well together, and competent, experienced people in charge. What more could you want from an estate agent. I really truly do recommend a Sansome & George.

Sold at the asking price (revised, at my request), so really happy with that. Also, Sansome & George acknowledged a couple of description edits, and their pictures made my flat justice. Really happy with that too. My flat was advertised in the premium section, which was good too. On the constructive side: - I felt at some stage that Sansome & George wanted a quick sale, when they suggested me to lower my asking price by £25K. Ultimately, a £10K proved sufficient. - I did feel a fair amount of pressure not to tie my sale with my purchase, while my circumstances had changed enough to allow me to do so without being harmful to the sale (we are talking a few working days' delay). I would have certainly appreciated more consideration in that aspect.

It is difficult to express in a few sentences the unspeakable atrocious service me and my family received from Sansome & George when renting a house from them for the last year until July 22. The lack of professionality was appalling from day one, evidenced in delivering the house in a lousy condition of dirt and malfunction, following by an incompetent response from this letting agent. To make things even worse, Sansome & George tried to keep, without permission or legal right, some of our rent deposit that I had to fight back through the Deposit Protection Service. The DPS finally resolved that they were entitled to only GBP 35 out of the GBP 639 they clumsily were trying to keep. Sansome & George are definitely people you do not want to deal with.

Spent summer 2022 hunting around Reading and experienced all the agents out there, some care, some don’t. Most just rush you around with no information. Honeslty, S&G was the most friendliest and helpful, on the week I had three to put an offer on, two was with them. Ben, the agent, Helped me get a good price on the one I went for, after losing out a few times before in BAFO. Then there is Babs / Barabara who manages the completions… she is the best person you could ever have to help complete. What a professional and a powerhouse, thank you !

I have recently sold a property in Reading through Sansome & George. I can honestly say that they are the best estate agency I have worked with. The star of the show was Barbara who was very quick to respond, always ready to give advice and was generally a lovely person to deal with. My sales process was not straightforward due to minor delays with the buyer and tenant. Barbara managed both sides of the problem, took away the stress and helped me bring the sale to a smooth conclusion.

Could not recommend this company more! Just purchased my 2nd home from them and what a breeze it was! Charlie was fantastic showing us around a few properties to give us a feel of what our budget could buy us, he was super knowledgeable of not only the property when asking questions but the local area also, there was no pressure in making an offer at any of the viewings I was able to take my time and reflect which really helps as moving is stressful! The other person who was fantastic through my transaction was Helyn, an absolute dream and kept me sane when my sale was rather tricky. Helyn kept me updated throughout and was able to give me help and guidance when needed and was so proactive! I will definitely be using Sansome and George if I ever sell! They found me my dream home! :)

Sansome & George/Neville Turner have provided a fantastic service from viewing to completion. Their team really seem to care about what they do and go above and beyond to give you a really personal service. Barbara, in particular, was amazing in during this process. During a stressful time trying to push a sale through quickly she worked tirelessly to help move things forward but also knew when to moderate my expectation. I could rely on her to tell me the truth of a situation so I was prepared when timescales slipped, something my solicitor seemed to shy away from. I couldn't recommend the service higher and when I come to move on from the property, I will definitely be going back to the Sansome & George/Neville Turner team.

From efficiently and successfully selling my property to supporting me through the legal process - they were superb. I’d especially like to praise Anthony and Barbara for their efforts - both demonstrated excellent customer service. Amazing service. After another estate agency failed to sell our property Anthony took on the sale for S&G. We got over asking price and he was easy to deal with and proactive in communications. More importantly, since the agreed sales and recent exchange we had a nightmare chain with multiple buyers playing games and mistakes by solicitors. Fortunately we had Barbara from their sales progression team going above and beyond to get things over the line. She took a nightmare situation and made it as close to stress free as possible for us. All of this was for a very price too, and so I highly recommend them, hence this review
