Felt like we were kept informed every step of the way and could really trust what we were being told and that our house was in good hands. Special mention to Anthony for hunting down our cat who’d hidden under a bed after a viewing and Helyn for dealing with my constant chasing when banks/solicitors were holding things up. Ben and Lewis in the sales team provided lots of knowledge and help along the way as I am a first time buyer. As well as Barbara who was really friendly and a good communicator! GoogleThe team at Sansome & George recently sold our house at asking price within a few days of it going on the market - what more could you ask for! In particular, Anthony did a brillinat job with the write-up and viewings, Ben aced the photography and Barbara did an amazing job as the progression agent to get it to exchange. If you are selling don't underestimate the value of a good progressor - Barbara did a lot of work to keep things moving and make things less stressful for us -- including with our onward purchase, and it was very much appreciated. We bought through Sansome & George 5 years ago with a similarly great experience which is why we choose them to sell with them. Would definitely use them again and highly recommend!

GoogleI cannot praise Sansome & George highly enough in the sale of my rental property in what has been a very tricky market of late. Their tenacity in achieving the right outcome with the right buyer was 2nd to none. The Sales team kept me constantly updated throughout and once sale agreed the case was transferred my sale progresser, Barbara - well what an awesome lady. We had a few challenges approaching exchange, however the proactiveness and professional attitude of Barbara to get the sale over the line was nothing short of amazing! Barbara literally took the bull by the horns and cajoled all parties together to close the deal - she certainly went above and beyond and based on this alone - I would highly recommend S&G to anyone looking to sell or buy in the Tilehurst area. GoogleI've never worked with an estate agent that's more inconsiderate than this one, they really are just all about taking your money. They will lie and hassle you to the point where you you just ignore them. yes I'm talking about you Barbara. Your "persistence" can only be described as bullying someone into a decision when this process could not have been carried out any faster, we understood you had pressure from the seller but there were a lot of lines that were crossed, I hope that you choose not to use that seller in the future and learn from this experience. Lieing about there being another offer on the table, and that we had to make a decision about certain processes that day, than threatening that the seller will choose the other offer which didn't exist. We are well aware that the seller is using another estate agent now to sell that property. Also the sellers agent should not be turning up for viewings, it should be the estate agent. In all honesty, just avoid this company like the plague. They genuinely made the first time buyer experience so traumatic. They will push their solicitors on you and slag off the ones that you choose saying that they are terrible to work with, even though that they are amazing and are very professional. On a postive note she did point out that the building surveyor had an issue, which was really useful. But I do think this would have been identified I'd we had more time.

Firstly I appreciate you commending Barbara on her professionalism and knowledge as you had instructed a surveyor who was not suitably qualified to act on your behalf, Secondly as an agent we act for the vendor, our duty of care is to the vendor and we are paid by the vendor to carry out their instructions in the sale of their property. We only receive payment if we successfully fulfill our duties to the vendor, so we will always act with integrity and to the very best of our ability for the vendor. Secondly we are legally obliged to disclose all offers to our client, and therefore would not suggest another offer was "on the table" if that was not the case. We are currently in a very competitive market place and sometimes have several offers in play on a single property, our job is to make the vendor aware of all the offers and the buyers situation, if the vendor chooses to take another offer as they are in a better position to commit and proceed, that is entirely their right and how the house buying process works. I do hope that you go on to find a property that you wish to purchase as I understand you have had "issues" with other agents in the area.

GoogleSansome & George managed the rental of my property for many years so it was only natural to ask them to sell it when the time came. They are professional and honest as a team. Barbara processes all sales once an offer is accepted and I was very happy to know that she would be handling my sale. She has worked in the environment for many, many years and is patient and understands the business so can clearly explain procedures and monitor the process from beginning to end. I have no hesitation in recommending Sansome & George every time.
