11 months after accepting an offer on our property we finally moved in January of this year. Charlie was with us every step of the way and helped us find the right property for our family and supported us through the process. Our chain ended up being long and painful but wow did Barbara work hard to get it over the line. Barbara was so dedicated and determined and went above and beyond time and time again! Without Barbara our chain would not have completed. Thank you S&G!

Sansome and George/Neville Turner are poles apart from any other Estate agents. They really do stand out from the crowd in every way possible. Their staff are not only helpful, they are articulate, knowledgeable and friendly. They go above and beyond and do it genuinely. They want to avoid bidding wars too and this for us was a breath of fresh air. They understand that they are dealing with real people with real lives and it isn't just a property game. Their sales negotiator Barabara Legg is second to none! She helped us immensely even at the bottom end of the chain where her involvement should have stopped. She could see our agents weren't pulling their fingers out and I know, if it wasn't for her, we wouldn't be in our new property now! She is an absolute assest to your company and I cannot commend her enough along with Ben Tate. Keep up the good work!

Just exchanged on a property with Sansome and George in just over two months. I found Courtney and Barbara incredibly helpful and responsive. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a quick sale/purchase.

We found our first house that we purchased together through Sansome & George and our initial viewing was arranged with Becky who was a pleasure to meet and could not do enough to answer our questions and make us feel comfortable throughout the viewing and negotiation process. We made an offer and Becky kept us always informed up until we reached an agreement with the vendor. At this point, Becky passed the selling and buying process over to Barbara. Having considered ourselves lucky to have dealt with Becky, we quickly realized that Barbara was equally supportive and friendly, as well as totally in control of every minor detail and keeping everyone on track. At times, it seemed that Barbara was working for us just as much as she was for the vendor, chasing up solicitors and answering every little question we threw at her. We always knew that Barbara would be on hand for speedy answers and accurate advice, along with a wicked sense of humour. We did not have a property to sell so we hoped that the buying process would be quick and easy but these matters are always complicated with so many people involved. We are very grateful that we found our house through Sansome & George because Becky and Barbara made the entire process a lot easier and quicker than it might have been if we had been dealing with someone else. A huge thank you to everyone at Sansome & George for helping us to buy our first home together and for keeping us positive when solicitors were dragging their heels and frustration kicked in. An extra special thanks to Barbara who kept us laughing in difficult times, as well as making sure that everyone did what they needed to and kept us calm. We wholeheartedly recommend Sansome & George. Merv

We sold our house with Sansome and George back in June and the service we received was great from start to finish. From our first meeting with Charlie who explained how the process would work and answered all the questions we had we felt confident we had made the right decision selling through them. The whole team we dealt with including Anthony, Paul and Barbara were wonderful, as were the agents Becky and Lewis that were there to show potential buyers around the property. We were pleased the sale went through quickly and without any major issues; and would like to thank Barbara for her helpful in making this happen, her quick response to our emails and calls were really appreciated. Thanks all at Sansome and George!

We recently sold our house through Sansome and George. The whole team were fantastic. From the initial valuation and preparation of the sale literature etc by Charlie, to arranging viewings through the team, agreeing a sale with the buyer and Barbara progressing the sale after we accepted an offer, we were impressed with the regular communication and professional but friendly attitude throughout. We were also pleased with the deal put forward on fees which tied in the services of Ferriday and Alder removals who moved us 200 miles to our new home. Paul and the team got everything packed up and moved efficiently and without breakages. We would definitely recommend Sansome and George to anyone looking to move home. Thanks to everyone involved.

Sansome and George were very professional and efficient. They took time with us and helped with many a query. The staff in office (Barbara) was exceptional when it came to chasing sellers and solicitors . Paul, Lewis and Charlie were always a phone call away and if not in ; always called back. They also explained each stage of the selling and made suggestions about how to sell the house when it had been on for a while , however, you never felt forced into any decisions and they respected what you wanted first and foremost . Hopefully we will never be moving again but if we did it would definitely be with these guys.

As a first time buyer, Charlie was great at showing us the property & Barbara has been amazing at informing us with updates, chasing and generally being there when we need her assistance. This process wouldn't of been so smooth if it wasn't for her and also her calming first time buyer nerves. We will never forget how amazing Sansome and George have been especially after a negative experience with another estate agent. Thank you!!!

From start to finish the team at Sansome& George have been efficient, organised and super helpful. James, Anthony and in particular Barbara, have been on the ball. They've answered all questions (and we had a lot) quickly and in a very simple manner. They also really helped when it came to getting the solicitors to move! (Thank you Barbara). They have been with us every step of the way and can only thank them for their help to get us our perfect house so promptly. Highly recommend

I would unequivocally recommend the team at Sansome & George and Neville Turner if you are looking to sell your property. Charlie's enthusiasm and positive attitude towards selling our property made all the difference when it came to selecting an agent. His knowledge of the market, the area and what buyers are looking for is impressive. True to his word he, along with his office team in Tilehurst, booked out 10 good viewings, and we had 7 offers on the table to consider within 2 days! Not what we were expecting.... Then as it came to progressing and closing the sale, Barbara Legg at Neville Turner was on every piece of communication, chasing solicitors, liaising and educating our (first time) buyers and all the while maintaining such composure and professionalism throughout the process even though it was a little tense at times. The world needs more Barbara's that's for sure - certainly when selling your house, which is typically pretty stressful!! Thank you all for doing such a great job - a credit to the industry. Tim

My family recently sold a property through Sansome and George at a time when this type of property wasn't doing well on the market. We had every confidence in Charlie and his team working their magic, as he came with an excellent local reputation. The sale process itself was highly complicated - for reasons unconnected to S&G - so I would like to give a special mention to Barbara Legg, who tirelessly followed up on every curve ball that was thrown in her path. This lady deserves an OBE for Services To Seller's Sanity. Needless to say - they are excellent and I would highly, highly recommend this company to anyone seeking to rent or sell their property. :)

Quite simply the best experience I’ve ever had with an estate agent and I thoroughly recommend them. The team at Sansome & George and Neville Turner were first class from start to finish. So knowledgeable, professional and great to deal with. Paul the owner was brilliant and very hands on. Nothing was too much trouble for him and the marvellous Anthony. They sold my house within a day of it going on the market. Fees were very reasonable too. And post sale a special thanks to the wonderful Barbara who did such a great job in coordinating all the parties to bring the process to completion with all her energy and charm. Well done team and thank you!

My husband and I have purchased our first home and the process could not have been smoother, stress free, trustworthy and especially Barbara who did her upmost to ensure we was all communicated throughout the chain and was really professional right the way through. Thank you so much. I would fully recommend Sansome & George they really shone through all other agencies in the area that we came across in this busy period, super professional, high efforts, and overall we would look to you in the future when selling! Overall 10/10!!!!

Sansome and George have provided an absolutely fantastic, professional service for us as we sold our house. The entire team are wonderful and delivered exactly what they said they would! We were kept informed at every stage of the process and every query, question, and concern that we had was quickly addressed and we were reassured by Barbara’s calm demeanour, experience and crystal clear explanations about every aspect of the sale. Having had a previous sale fall through with a different estate agent we were anxious that the same thing would happen again but Barbara made sure that everyone in our chain was kept well informed and had up to date, accurate, information. Barbara is worth her weight in gold and I don’t know how we would have coped with the stress, uncertainty and anxiety without her efficiency, patience and reassurances throughout. If you want an experienced, professional team who genuinely care about you and your sale or purchase, use Sansome and George!

We have received great support from Sansome & George(Ben Tait and Barbara Townsin-Legg). Ben has shown the property to us and he explained very well, Barbara has been the contact person for the sale. They provided great support on our property buying journey.

Brought our new home via Helyn at Sansome and George and have to say that there are no other estate agents like them, Helyn was our communication and go to person for all things to do with the purchase of the property. Without Helyn we would not have been where we are today due to complications. When i come to sell this property and buy another then there is only one company i am going to and that is Sanome and George. Great service.

Superb job of getting our house sold in the timeframe we were looking for. I cannot thank Courtney enough for negotiating the sale initially & Barbara enough (a real asset to S and G) for pushing people along, to make it happen.

Amazing staff and very experienced. We are first time buyers and we were dreading this task but the S&G team lead by Barbara were super amazing and made it seamless experience. I would definitely recommend them to anyone especially having dealt with other estate agents in the Reading area (without naming). Many thanks S&G team and we are in a happy place :)
