I have recently rented out my property in Southcote through Sansome George in Tilehurst and I can't recommend them highly enough. From the moment I spoke with Nicole the Lettings Manager I felt put at ease with her honest but helpful advice and her knowledge of the current laws regarding rentals and all the legislation. After completing paperwork and all the necessary checks I was handed over to Leah the Lettings Negotiator who managed to get 2 asking price offers on my property! Once my tenants moved in Georgee the Property Manager then dealt with any maintenance issues and paperwork going forward and introduced herself from the get go and was on hand for any support or queries moving forward. I have yet to experience the property inspection reports every 6 months but I am rest assured that my property is in good hands and that the team have it all under control. My first rent payment came through and the invoice was very detailed and "idiot proof" for me (was appreciated!). Thank you to the team at S & G for helping me throughout this process and for renewing my faith in lettings agents after a bad experience in the past.

I wouldn’t recommend this place for sellers neither for buyers. As a buyer looking for property I saw one that has just come up on rightmove . When I called in to book a viewing I was told the offer has been made and they are no longer taking viewings. Later I found out it’s been offered “under the table” to an investor .. to me that is unfair and I’d call it corruption. I don’t think that’s how agencies should work but maybe I’m wrong so you can correct me.

We just sold through Sansome & George. We had no doubt that our house would sell quickly and it did. We had considered using an online estate agent for this reason, to save some money.. We are very glad we didn't.. S&G got us above asking price, within 5 days.. We had underestimated the value an estate agent adds. From verifying our chain when competing on the next purchase to those little bits of advice on the onward purchase from Anthony.. Helyn seems to get mentioned a lot on these reviews.. She was great. She kept on top of where the transaction was, and was always happy and friendly, even with our budget conveyancer's who never answer the phone. She also represents an additional value from a real estate agent. I would not look anywhere else next time I need an estate agent. Thanks!

I had occasion to deal with many of the estate agents in Reading for buying, selling and lettings (both as a landlord and tenant). Sansome & George are comfortably the best I have dealt with. Their level of service in all areas is excellent. The lettings team were a joy, when issues arose they were dealt with calmly and competently. The sales guys nailed it in a weekend. It was a thing of beauty to behold. The after sales support was top notch as well.I do not hesitate in highly recommending all of them. If I ever find myself dealing with property in Reading in future, this will be the company I call.
