I have been dealing with Parkers - Market Place in Reading for quite a few years in the purchasing and letting of BTL's. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Parkers has always shown a lot of dedication. They are efficient, knowledgeable, perseverant, very much client oriented and will try to accommodate their client's requirements to the best of their ability. That positive attitude is reflected in its manager and the whole team in place. Having made my marketing previously, I must stress Parkers is competitive and helped me save time and money.

Parkers have been letting my apartment for 4 years and I've been very happy so far. They've been very helpful fully managing the property, very effective finding tenants, so that my property wasn't vacant for long in between the tenancies and yet felt comfotable that my property is well looked after. Damien was very helpful and supportive in achieving a quick recovery of our home from tenant in difficult circumstances for me. He gave good advice on the best approach for a recovery from existing tenant. During the process he reported regularly on what was happening and also gave me useful feedback. Also, during the period to carry out some repairs but, as I do not live locally to the area, he provided me with some really good contacts for carpenter/plumber and roofer who all carried out the necessary repairs quickly, efficiently and at a fair price. In the run up to completion I was unable to visit the property for a month so he checked on it to ensure all was well. I would definitely recommend this company.

I came into contact with Parkers, Market Sq Branch originally in 2010 in the purchase the flat in Reading I have just sold. In both repects the service has been good. On the sale they found a buyer in about 2 weeks at an acceptable price and the whole process has gone smoothly. Amy showed me round the flat at very short notice and was very helpful, which was appreciated as it was my first time renting by myself. Ryan then took the reigns and was very informative and prompt to answer any questions. He also ensured that I was able to move in 4 days prior to posted move in date. Very handy as I was going to be starting a new job on the Monday!! He also made it that some of the furniture I requested to be moved out was done in time for my move in. Considering I had a month to build a new life in Reading, Parkers made the whole process very straight forward. Overall, i'm very happy with the service I received from Parkers.

I started looking for investment properties last summer. I used a selection of estate agents. Parkers were brilliant every step of the way. First they were always polite on the phone. Two, they were never late for viewings. Three and most importantly they were never ever pushy to hasten me to make a decision. Their staff member on viewings was independent of sales and was always impartial and helpful to consider the entire property. I found Amy, on the phone, consistently kind and thoughtful. She always followed up questions, finding out the answers and never pushed for a sale. She listened and responded to my requests, only sent me details of properties that were pertinent to me and after many viewings, I found a property which matched my all requirements. Ben, on the lettings side was very competent too. Again not pushy or presumptuous. Thorough on the first visit and answered all of my many questions. He was professional, always punctual. He was very reasonable on valuation and what to expect. He said when the information would go live on the web and it did. My only surprise was how quickly my property let (under a week!) If you want to be treated with respect, have attention to detail, and experience professional service - go to Parkers, Market Place in Reading. Professional, patient and not pushy!

I have recently purchased a property being marketed by Parkers Reading and my contact was Damien Glowacki. The service I have received from begiining to end has been fantastic and Damien has been thorough, honest and helpful all the way through. All of the numerous issues were on my side as I had problems with my mortgage lender. This caused delays amounting to around 3 months, during which time Damien was extremely understanding and helped keep the relationship with the vendor as smooth as possible. I never felt that Parkers was just representing their interests; I genuinely got the impression that they cared about customer service, both for the vendor AND the prospective buyer. I would highly recommend Parkers and they will be my first choice of agent as required.

Last year I looked into an investment property and at the time spent a lot of time with Parkers, who were honest, patient and gave excellent advice, which I followed and held off buying until this year. I have now put an offer in on a property which has been accepted. What I particularly like about Parkers is that they never pushed or tried to cajol me into buying. When I was being shown around Ben was really helpful giving balanced advice, highlighting pros and cons rather than trying to push me into a decision, he was patient and happy to show me as many properties as I wanted before I choose. He was also incredibly respectful of the vendors, whish I thought showed integritey. Honesty and respect are high on my agenda when buying a property and I can honestly say that all the staff treated me with these. I would thoroughly recommend Parkers. Mark who deals with lettings also spent a lot of time talking to me about practical issues and returns etc. I would like to take this time to thank everyone for their prompt, honest, professional yet personal service. It was a pleasure rather than headache buying this property, also thank you for your relentless patience.

Having dealt with many agents in different countries I found the whole team at Parkers in Reading to be as good as I have come across. Being from another country and coming into a market cold can be very difficult at times but the team at Parkers made it extremely easy. Everyone in there office was obliging and friendly in their approach. This became evident by the third or fourth day everyone in the office knew who I was and we were on a first name basis. I would especially like to thank Damian who was just incredible and nothing was ever to much trouble for him and he actually went out of his way to assist me with things that would normally be outside the realms of his responsibilities. I felt an immediate connection with the staff here so much so that I am contemplating doing further business in Reading with the team from Parkers. I sent out a blanket email to a few agents asking for properties in the Reading area, and Parkers were very quick to get back to me, and gave me a lot of detailed information quickly. After one phone call I had five viewings booked all on one day, some of which I hadn't thought of looking at and were suggested by the agent herself. Once we'd found a potential house we made a couple of requests regarding what furniture was provided and the monthly rental price, all of which were met. My only criticism would be that during the viewings we were told that in some cases we would be meeting other people there who also wanted to see the property. I wasn't terribly keen on this, as it can be quite awkward, especially if both groups want to make an offer! I would urge Parkers to ask prospective tenants in advance if they're OK with this, but it is a minor quibble. Overall I'd definitely recommend using Parkers in the future.

The whole team are efficient

The whole team are efficient and well informed about each property. Phone call are returned on time, the sales team listened to my requirements and didn't waste my time simply trying to hit viewing targets. The property listing were up to date and the prices realistic, in my own experience other agents overvalue properties to get the listing with knowledge it is overpriced. The process for moving the sale trhough was lead by the office manager who i found to be a great help. The in-house mortgage advisor is second to none. Buying through Parkers, Reading branch was an example of how estage agents should do things

A very professional outfit. Valuation and initial dealings with Ben were very straight forward and everything was explained clearly. Plenty of viewings all carried out by Parkers, - was informed each time they were taking place and recieved feedback afterwards - good communication. Once an offer was made and accepted, the sale progressed without too may hitches. Damien provided regular updates and responded quickly to emails and calls. I have few properties in and around Reading and was lucky enough to get to know Parkers in Reading town centre few years ago. I was so impressed with the level of their service and class that I soon started moving all my properties to them for full management. Up until that point I was not happy with giving the full management to estate agents since they just used to charge a high percentage for doing nothing and not dealing with my tenants with respect. I am happy and so are my tenants. I recommend them to any landlord who wants a good deal and a great level of care.

They are efficient at renting out the properties at good market rates with minimal empty periods. They give good advice, resolve disputes and give realistic market values.
