Had huge problems with their referencing company being useless and the house being given to us in a deplorable state, but the guys in the reading office did try to help to be fair. Overall, I think the issues are most on the agency they use, their bad landlords, poorly maintained houses with non working keys and rubbish contracts. We went with them from lack of choice being time pressured after the house we wanted got pulled off the market just hours before we were due to be given a contact. If we were not pressed for time, we would have chosen a different house. Shout out to stephen and Anita from the reading office who did their best to help. Would not have given the experience even 1 star without them

Sorry to hear the issues withe the reference company - we have moved from this firm that carried out our references due to issues like this. The house was also managed by the landlord, hence our hands tied regarding the maintenance. Thanks for the feedback though, it has helped us move in a different direction on a few things.

I have a fantastic experience with Martin and Co.Reading. I have taken a property on rent from them in Reading. They have been very professional and helpful in the process of dealing with property renting. Each of their team member have been very warm and amicable and providing right details to me. Whether it be detailed Inventory check, house surrounding details and any other help that i have needed, they have been spot on. I strongly recommend Martin and co Reading!

I am renting from this agency since 2017, we've actually had a little issue on the beginning of my tenancy but since then everything is perfect! They sorted out all repairs/issue really quick. Anita should receive some award because of her work! She always tries to help as much and as quick as she can! I definitely recommend!😉 …

Martin and co have been the best letting agents we have used during our 5 years living in Reading. They are good intermediaries between landlord and tenant- Compared to some agents in the area who make a habit of “fleecing” their tenants on behalf of the landlord, we have always found Martin and co to be very honest and fair. Anita in particular is always so smiley, pleasant and supportive!!

I needed to find a place quite promptly and James Mulder from Martin & Co helped me out brilliantly. Booked a viewing, saw it the same day and said I wanted it. James helped me get through the proceedure of renting swiftly. Honestly couldn't of gone any smoother.

The most fantastic experience from a Lettings Agent that I have ever received! Both Anita and Stephen have been wonderful in getting me moved in and settled in to the property and all with the utmost professionalism. The agency should have managed their landlords effectively and efficiently. Avoid RG1 2SW as the landlord took 3 months to reply our requests for repair and another month to fix "ONE" of the problems (gas). We had no gas for almost a month..... Now it's taking over a month to return the deposit and to be continued.... **literally worse experience over past 5 years**
