Tom from Cintra Estates was incredibly helpful in finding us the perfect property. He made the contract signing process stress free. His professionalism and communication made the experience smoother. Highly recommend!

Rude, unprofessional “estate agent” with multiple legal cases against them and the sole intention of scamming students! Not heard one good thing about them. Stole £1000 in refundable deposits from my friend then called her mum a stupid b***** to her face! Took £300 from my group as a refundable deposit to have a meeting with the landlord, only to laugh at us and hang up when we asked for it back. Ask any Reading student about Cintra and they’ll have a similar story... AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!! Well where do I begin with Cintra...This estate agents is a complete sham. The agency’s owner and ring leader, Asif Khan, has successfully dodged calls and dodged the return of our deposit for almost 2 months now. The landlord has stated that the house is in perfect condition and Asif should return the deposit in full. However, Mr Khan has fabricated a different story every time we attempt to contact him concerning it. As well as gross incompetence, there is quite obviously tax evasion/money laundering occurring at Cintra. Asif came to our house and asked one of my housemates to be the middle man in a money transfer between ridgemoor properties (a subgroup of Cintra) and Cintra estates. Hopefully we get the deposit back before the tax man comes knocking! All in all avoid this shambolic excuse for an estate agency at all costs as not only are they extremely poor at their jobs. They are most probably operating outside of the law.

Amar, Tom and Benji were all amazing. They stayed late to make sure we saw all the houses we needed to and gave us time to discuss. They were an incredible help.

Avoid Cintra Estates at all costs! They put on a front and seem like professional staff in the office, but their practices couldn't be far from it! To start they couldn't even provide house keys when moving in as they'd lost them and then we enter the house for it to look like this!!!! They then shift the blame onto Ridgemoor who pass it back to Cintra, all very confusing... and so we couldn't move in. After many emails and phone calls the property was ready to move into... but it was hardly "professional" clean as they call it. No reimbursement for rent baring in mind the property was unliveable for at least 3 months. Problems continued as the house was barely legal, was a struggle to even ask for a carbon monoxide detector fitted!!! Things got so bad we got Environmental Health round as my room didn't even have a radiator.. We never saw the landlord no idea who he was, if you want anything done be prepared to send countless emails and phone calls, it's not going to be easy. Took 2 months to get the deposit back.... endless excuses were made up again shifting the blame onto Ridgemoor and the "landlord". They will never give money back unless you pester them for months on end, funny how they are so quick to ask for money yet fail to give it back.. Most unprofessional business I have ever encountered, caused me, my housemates and family ridiculous amounts of stress and we could never feel relaxed as there would always be some sort of problem with both these so called businesses. So glad the 3 years are over so we never have to deal with them again.

I am writing my review on Ridgmoor who i am under the impression are a sub group of Cintra. As I signed the contract and received my keys from Cintra, I assume that they are responsible for the conditions endured at least in part. I entered into a contract with five other housemates at the beginning of July 2017. Cintra assured us that the house we agreed to rent would be totally refurbished by the end of summer, in which time we would all be moving in. The house was not refurbished in its entirety, the kitchen being the only thing that was worked on, which was a complete health hazard when we viewed it. Upon moving in we found that the showers weren't working as promised. We had to meet with a highly unskilled handyman sent by the estate agents. We would have random workmen appear at our door without being notified at all by the landlords. We had our doors removed and replaced without warning and had them thrown carelessly in our front and back garden, with an empty promise that they would be picked up and disposed of soon. It never happened. We were hounding the landlords to fix any and all maintenance issues for the entirety of the contract by they never did anything solved the issue for little more than a day. Our deposits were not given back to us for over two months. Our lead tenant had to email them and phone them during a holiday. When he got through to them they made the baseless claim that we hadn't paid them rent all year. Because we were students, landlords like this take advantage of our lack of knowledge of property law, and lack of options, providing a sub par services because their attitude is; "Well? What are you gonna do about it?" The most we can really do is leave an honest review about our terrible experiences, so they can either be better or be nothing.

Do not ever deal with this estate agency. The staff may be friendly, but that can only cover up so much of the deep flaws of their service. Communication is awful, their handyman sometimes ignores calls. Management never calls back when promised. Almost nothing fixed or refurbished, no action taken at all (except "cleaned") 4 months after the 2 week "promise" of fixing the place up. Broken glass still left in the garden, oven doesn't work, cracks and holes in walls, ceilings and doors. At least two lightbulbs not working. Fire alarms found without batteries, wires left uncovered. The house was inadequate; the service and management were appalling. Overall, a terrible experience I wouldn't wish upon my worst enemy.

The least professional office staff I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. You can't expect much intelligence from estate agents, they're doing the job because they have no other marketable skills but at the bare minimum you expect them to understand words like "confirmation". Avoid like the plague.

Avoid this estate agents at all costs. They put on that facade in their office like they're about it, but instead they're incompetent beyond belief. They seem very comfortable knowing that thousands of pounds of deposits are yet to be returned which suggests they have it covered up through Ridgemoor Properties who they essentially own. The biggest mess you could possibly imagine. A damn shame the post button greys out when you select 0 stars.

Cintra estates Reading are not a company you should rely on. We went to 4 viewings yesterday, and asked the company to send us an email RIGHT away with pictures of the houses we went to. We didn't receive the email that day, and we had to call 3 TIMES the next day to have them to send us the pictures. When we finally got the pictures, we replied to minutes after "We want the house, how should we do this? Do you want us to stop by today" They never replied, and i called back two hours later, and then the house was taken. I cant belive it. We were going to decide right after we got the pictures of the houses, and its their fault we didn't get this house. This is so unprofessional.

Fantastic employer and a friendly atmosphere, can't go wrong with Cintra, especially if your searching for student accom... large portfolio of fantastic properties for all adults whether you're a working professional or student however you have to be fast to snap up the nicest ones as they go like hotcakes. Get in there and simply hand in your details to become a prospect, to this day I am still informed off available properties for rent/purchase so the services are consistent. You will not be let down.

I am a landlord in Reading & London I having been with Cintra Estates since they opened 4 years ago they have been the most straight forward and honest estate agents I've ever delt with and their staff are very professional and are the best in town. I have over 30 of my properties managed with them and they have consistently let them through out the years and have Managed them with no hassle.

I am about to move from one Cintra property to another with a day between contracts. I was assured by the manager when signing the paperwork that we'd be taken care of in between tenancies, provided with somewhere to stay in between. At this time I was asked to review Cintra on google. However, now that the time has come, that same manager jas told me they can't do this, and made no effort to help find a solution. They'll say anything to make you happy to make sale or get a review, but fail to deliver on their promises. I feel utterly betrayed.

Don't know where to start, best estate agents around polite, honest , trustworthy and extremely professional. Made house hunting fun. What I loved the most was the honesty and patience they had with me, when I was searching for my home I fell in love with a few which they could of very easily made their sale but instead they were honest and told me faults which later in life could of became a headache. Had been to a few estate agents in reading and not one can compare. HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU WONT BE LET DOWN.

The staff at Cintra were very pleasant and we were overall very pleased with their customer service. As my friends and I wished to have a weekend viewing of the houses (As all our schedules clashes with the weekday viewing and we wanted all of us to be present when choosing a house), they had catered to our needs and had opened the office for us during the weekend and brought us around. Would definitely recommend, as it is also hassle-free and no fees charged to students! :)

Run Run Run far away and never look back! They lie by omission of facts. Pressure you to take the worst properties first by lying about availability. Each agent will have different information for you. Bait and switch tactics to try to get rid of the worst properties. Property they put you in is not well maintained or inspected. They also sneak all type of fees even though they advertise no fees for student. They sneak it into the rental price. Never again! If I could give negative reviews I would!

At first they seemed ok, a little pushy rushing us from house to house and telling us how much we didn't really have much time to choose as they'd all be gone soon. From there on in we felt like an inconvenience to them. We were ill-informed about payments, they were disorganised with what we owed and what we had paid. We had been with them for almost 5 months, yet they had no idea who we were or what our file was- which did nothing for customer service. They ignored our requests not to be contacted by third parties and happily sent them our information and mobile numbers! The last straw was attempting to talk to them on the phone and being hung up!- Then they ask us to write a review because "fake" bad reviews by their competitors are being set up- which sounds like a awful petty excuse. Although from face family it seemed like any other agency- lack of customer service and complete disorganisation would make this one to go with.
