Throughout the whole process of moving our elderly parents, Ryder and Dutton in Rawtenstall were fantastic to deal with. I would like to recognise Alex McMahon and Graham, in dealing so sensitively with their situation, they were very generous with their time in making everything run as smoothly as possible. Alex took on the communications. She was extremely efficient, she updated us regularly and our calls were dealt with promptly and intelligently. And with a kindness which we really appreciated . Absolutely top marks to Ella Austin at the Ryder & Dutton at Rawtenstall branch for being a complete star throughout all the processes of my house sale. She handled all the viewings, was an excellent negotiator, and responded quickly to emails and calls. She has just the right blend of professional and friendly, and was unfailingly helpful and cheerful. It has been tough for all during this pandemic and causing alot of delays but Ella had alot of patience helping myself and the vendor to go through a smooth process. I purchased a property through Ryder and Dutton during this very difficult time for the whole of society. My experience has been nothing short of refreshing. I use the word refreshing as usually I have found other local estate agents rather dismissive. I had the pleasure of having Shannon guiding me through my purchase. Shannon would give me weekly updates and would even notify me when she was on leave. I had never heard of this before from an estate agent. Here was an estate agent who would hand over active purchases to fellow team members so you were not left in the dark. Shannon was active in chasing both parties solicitors and feeding back. Our experience with R&D at Rawtenstall was nothing short of amazing. The initial visit from Graham who valued our property and advised us how to maximise it’s potential was both professional and reassuring as we stepped into the crazy property market during a reduced stamp duty period. The photographer came and took photos that presented our home in the best possible way which we have no doubt got buyers through the door. Next came the jewel of the R&D crown in Shannon who was like the captain of the ship as she navigates through often choppy waters organising all stakeholders within the chain with the right amount of perseverance that we hit our desired moving date whilst expertly never pushing too hard that others in the chain became frustrated with her desire to project manage the move to meet our expressed wishes. Shannon confidently stepped up and gracefully took on the role of anybody within the chain that looked to be slowing down the process. A final mention to Roisin who proved a trusted wingwoman to Shannon; stepping up in her absence to get our sale over the line whist maximising the sale price is a way that showed knowledge and understanding of the process well beyond her current exposure to this industry. Without doubt, under Shannon’s guidance, Roisin will prove another star within the R&D team. If you are considering moving house, you would be crazy to even think about using anybody other than Ryder & Dutton at Rawtenstall
