We recently completed on our property purchase through Ryder and Dutton and cannot recommend them highly enough, especially for anyone buying their first home. Our sales progressor Ada Grundy was fantastic from start to finish. She was proactive in managing the chain, always on hand to answer questions, and even when she was out of the office we never had to chase for updates - colleagues stepped in without being asked and were just as helpful. As first-time buyers, that level of consistent communication made a real difference. At no point did we feel left in the dark or like we had to chase for answers, which took a huge amount of stress out of the process. If you’re a first-time buyer looking for an estate agent who will keep you informed and genuinely go the extra mile, we’d recommend Ryder and Dutton without hesitation. Thank you to the whole team!

I recently enquired about viewing a property with Ryder & Dutton and spoke with Sophie Nash - I was really impressed with the level of service she provided. After contacting several estate agents, Sophie was the only one who went above and beyond by not only helping to arrange a viewing, but also offering support with the sale of our own home. She was polite, friendly, and genuinely helpful throughout the conversation. Sophie took the initiative to arrange a valuation for our property and also set up a call with a mortgage advisor, which made the whole process feel much more manageable. After a long exhausting journey we completed on our forever home on friday. The team at Ryder and Dutton have always been helpful, contactable and when i collected the keys the smiles around the office were infectious. I have to thank Matt, buying a property and land is mindnumbing and he has always been alongside our hurdles. He has gone out of his way to chase solicitors that had nothing to do with his sale to help us complete. This is a service that is second to none. Dealing with Matt and not being passed from pillar to post was also refreshing, he knew where we were upto, what we had to do next and even offered to stay behind for me to collect the keys if needed. This service is first class. We will definatley use them again when/if we need too. Thanks again Matt, i feel like your one of the family.

After watching the recent Panorama exposé on estate agents, I feel compelled to share my experience with Ryder Dutton, which has been the complete opposite of those dubious practices. Jamie C has handled our property sale with exceptional professionalism from day one. Seems impossible to view a property with these. Despite asking for clarification, i just get the same default email, you have to submit an application for the property BEFORE viewing it?? I have tried contacting them 3 times on various platforms to ask if this is correct or if i'm misunderstanding, only to received the same automated response with a link telling me what I need in order to submit an application. Why on earth would anyone apply and waste money on fees, before viewing???? I have dealt with many estate agents and was one myself in a past life, so this is a new one for me. Very poor and unprofessional service in my opinion, not even will to answer a simply query and I wont be recommending them to others.

My experience with Ryder & Dutton wasn't great. I found communication to be lacking, I found myself constantly chasing up an application for a letting, I presumed when the property disappeared from the websites that the landlord chose another applicant. When I rang I left messages for a call back they would ring my husband instead of me and when I chased up another application I was told I had been emailed, but they only sent an email to my husband. I feel like if a couple apply, reply to the couple, when an application isn't successful, communicate that. I also found "pre-applying" for a property before viewing a little backwards too, they could never seem to find mine on file and it was brought up every time we wanted to view a property. I understand commission for a letting probably isn't as much as commission for a sale but that doesn't mean you shouldn't put the effort in.
