GoogleBeware people. when my tenancy had finished they never gave me back my deposit, I left the house immaculate as I have too much respect for myself. At the time i didn't have much money so not receiving the deposit back resulted in being temporarily homeless. Robert is a Con Artist.

They have assisted with an insurance claim and furniture removal, including privately in their own time, whilst managing my property. They supply an honest, reliable service for me as a Landlord. GoogleWe have been letting with Guildhall Lettings in the same house for nearly 12 years. In that time we have needed most things sorting out. Roof, boiler, external doors, electrical work and flooring. Sheds and more. Every time we ring up to ask for something to be fixed they have been very professional and have managed to get it sorted as fast as possible. I can not fault the teams dedication and attitude towards the tennents over the last decade. 2 staff we deal with the most have been there since we started letting. GoogleFrom September to February, water leaked from the ceiling in the bathroom twice, each time over a week without a break. Finally, the ceiling has fallen to the floor, there is no light in the whole apartment and the bathroom is unusable. I called the Guildhall many times, wrote emails, sent pictures, nobody came to help us, advise us etc. It has all been going on for over 2 months. 5 days ago, a gas worker forbade the use of a boiler, no heating or hot water, Guildhall believes that it is still a high standard apartment!

Yellhouse inspection then they wrongly say i'm in arrears with rent
Had a house inspection. Robert Sheilds came round to do the inspection who's there director. They have four women why do i get him. He's a horrible horrible man. He invaded my personal space in the kitchen and started jabbing his finger at me. Then he made innappropriate coments about a front door i installed on leaving thankfully and good riddance. I'm not homosexual.The next day they inform me by e mail i'm £225 in arrears. They send me a "statement" i check my bank online. and have always paid them on time usually early. Avoid Robert Sheilds he is horrible and unfriendly

GoogleI agree with persons comment above we received 70% of our bond back when promised more especially having to put with the house having raw sewage running under the kitchen floor in the early days kitchen cabinet coming away from the wall which could have seriously injured my 3 year old at the time. All I can say is becareful who the landlord is and don't be taken in by conspicuous letting agencies. I may not be the named lease holder but I lived with one. Really poor service I'm not going to name people though. Not fake it's a reality very poor letting agency.NegativeQuality

GoogleDisgusted with the way I was treated. Would never try use them again. We applied for a property, I was willing to put 6 months rent upfront. Sent in application form. Then got told we needed a Guarantor being unemployed, my father said he would, but doesn't own his own house, Guildhall said they would over look it. We sent that paperwork back, then get told father has has to fill tenancy agreement aswell, so sent that back. After nearly 2 weeks and all that, got told someone else has put in an application. I phoned up numerous times to find out what was going on, and got told "Because we didn't fit their criteria, being unemployed and had pets, the other application has got the property."

GoogleI contacted Guildhall Lettings after a horrible experience with my previous landlord that left me feeling very unsafe at my old flat. I explained to them why my safety was now compromised and that I needed to move into a new flat ASAP. Guildhall Lettings processed all the paperwork for the new flat very quickly in order to help get me safe. All the staff were all so empathetic and compassionate to my situation and ensured me that I would feel safe at the new flat they are leasing to me. They ensured that the alarm system and video security intercom in the flat was working to ensure I would feel safe in my new flat. They were all so friendly and always made sure to make me laugh as they understood that I was very stressed because of my previous landlord. The new flat is amazing and they have given me a complete written guide as to how to maintain the property to a good standard. Their leasing contract is very professional in order to protect both the landlord and the tenant. Additionally, their pricing for the flat is more than fair and is in a very good condition. I would definitely recommend that if you are looking to buy or rent, Guildhall Lettings should be your go to people! I really cannot fault them at all as they helped turn such a horrible situation into a really positive new safe beginning for me. It really is true when they say "Not all heroes wear capes". GoogleWe had Guildhall come to price up our property and they were very professional, respectfull of the house and our circumstances. Ultimately we ended up taking a PX from a new build developer but hey came to check in after the house being up for a few weeks and provided a little goody bag and advent calendar which was very thoughtfull.

They’ve always done their best to deal with any request and go out of their way to help. Had most dealings with Katy and Lauren over the years and they are very down to earth, approachable members of staff who will help any way they can. We’ve been really lucky to have stayed rented with them over various properties and cannot recommend them highly enough. GoogleI have been a tenant for the pat 2-3 years and it has been such a positive experience. They are quick to deal with any issues and so friendly and accommodating. Especially enjoyed meeting Kate she has been lovely and I am sad to be moving on as she always takes the time to get to know you and build a relationship absolutely lovely woman and massive asset to the company customer service is amazing. Thankyou for making my time and experience an enjoyable one!
