He is also proactive by suggesting alternatives for us to work around. He brings in his colleague Garn who provides us with additional market info and speedily sends us a valuation of our existing property of his own accord. Our flat in Pinner was just sold through Foxtons. James Murdock and Garn King handled the entire procedure in a timely and professional manner. I should mention that we had our property listed with another agent for about three months, during which time we received very few viewings, with the majority of them being cancelled. Then James spoke with me and explained how Foxtons operates, and I decided to put the flat on the market with them. In a few weeks, I received an offer. When dealing with complications or delays involving other parties such as conveyancers and management organisations, they were quite professional. Really surprised that all reviews of foxtons are all good. I had gone through foxtons eventhough i never got good feedback from people as i liked the property. This review was also posted in UK trust pilot but they try to be smart by reporting the review against guidelines, hence putting review on google reviews. Here is my story with Foxton Pinner: May 19- Visited the property in Pinner and finalised the deal. There was some guy called preetam who showed us the property , who didnt know anything and whatever he said was incorrect (Like who would manage property , thermostat). June 19 - we came to know that Foxton has advertised same property for sell as well as rent which came as a shock, however it was too late us to back off.During this time, I had talks with director and Preet who were good though. July 19 - I moved in , however there was some furniture missing and appliances were not working.When mailed the director , I didn't get response It took us around 2 weeks with no appliance working and had to get food from outside Oct 19 - The property was sold to new party and we continued as tenants with new landlord. Dec19- There started a dampness issue in the property and reports showed that as it was top floor and roof was full of condensation , the property caused mould and it was difficult to stay Jan-feb20- We had miserable time. My wife was expecting and the property was full of dampness and mould and landlord tried seeking help from management company and the company was not willing to invest as it was huge costs associated Feb 20- The dodgy landlord asked us to vacant in mid of all this.And then deducted 750£ making false claims that mould was partially because of tenant's lifestyle as they wanted to recover the repairs costs Mar20- Dispute was raised against the agency and the tenant by the agency.During this time, we realised that they have not updated landlord on deposits. So, overall it was a nightmare experience. I would definitely not recommend foxtons to anyone

I had a great experience using Foxtons and especially from the help I have received from Sophie Kekwick, who works in the Pinner office. Our current rental with another agency has been somewhat problematic. Sophie assuaged my fears from the off in helping us find the best properties for our next move to a new home. She was professional, informative but most importantly has a skill that few people have. The ability to listen and understand the requirements of customers. Sophie enabled a positive negotiation with the landlord, provided professional advice of our rights as tenants, helped us with the step-by-step process and has been always available to answer questions, during the day, evenings and weekends. When she has not been available due to her work load she has always communicated with us at the earliest opportunity. In short, Sophie has been polite, patient, helpful and a good advert for Foxtons. I would be pleased for her to work for us again should we require a move in the future. I shall also be recommending her work to friends for their future moves.
