I was looking for a house to rent and found on on the CHICHESTER website, asked about it and the lady said that they do a video call with me and my wife at 3.00 on friday 7/7/23, No video call arrived, called them at 4.15 and was told that someone was viewing the house and they would send the video. a very rushed video arrived this morning, and when I went to ask the next step in the process would be, I was told that someone would call me back. just had the call at 15.16, to say that applications have already gone to the owners, and they did'nt care if I was interested in the house.Dont Touch With A Barge Pole

We recently moved out of a rental property managed by the Chichester Branch of Henry Adams Lettings. We had been model tenants for 2 years and were appalled by the treatment we received from Henry Adams. We left the property in immaculate condition and yet Henry Adams found every little detail possible to try and keep back as much of the deposit as they could. Be warned that you will not get your full deposit back! Daisy Kindred, in particular, was rude and patronising. Do yourself a favour and let a property with a different agent!

GoogleI have recently used Henry Adams in Petersfield to rent a house in Liss. From start to finish they were easy to deal with, the let went smoothly, they helped out on move in date when i asked to change it, communication was excellent and all the team are very helpful and friendly. On top of that the house is brilliant, clean, warm and lovely when we moved in. Thanks guys

Very disappointed to say the least. They are very nice to you before you move in, after paying rent and deposit you will see hell. I stayed for days with no hot water in December, making numerous calls and emails and being told stories. I stayed for months with damp and mold and nothing was done, only for them to make efforts to change the place for the new tenant when I was to move out. The house was extremely cold. The worst experience ever, paying a lot of money for rent for nothing.

Henry Adams has been great throughout the entire process of re-letting our flat. Our main contact was Charlie and he was always readily available, friendly and helpful with every query we had. I really appreciated his down to earth manner and honest advice and he was sensitive to our wishes, never pushing us to accept a potential new tenant that we didn’t feel comfortable with. Everything ran smoothly with setting up the new contracts and arranging the handover to our tenants. Thank you Henry Adams, would highly recommend!

GoogleIn 2021/22 we were tenants of a property managed by Henry Adams while our own house was being renovated and found the experience to be much more positive than we had expected. They and their excellent maintenance team were quick to respond whenever we had a problem and they were scrupulously fair throughout the tenancy.

Kevin, from Selsey branch was so friendly at first but when I chose to go elsewhere due to massively better rates I got an unpleasant and upsetting reply. I complained to the CEO and had an apology from him, not Kevin of course but as a result it appears I've been 'blacklisted'. Up to the point of complaint I had received multiple properties to view with Henry Adams but nothing since. This appears malicious and extremely unprofessional. Please don't use Henry Adams in Selsey.

The very few minor issues that have arisen have been dealt with both quickly and efficiently. Very happy with the service I have received, would recommend them to anyone thinking of renting.

GoogleThe office in Petersfield has managed our flat for the past four years. We have found them to be very pleasant and helpful. We recently had problems with tenants who left the flat in a bit of a bit of a mess. Viv Boyd organised the cleaning very quickly and efficiently. I would certainly award them 5 stars.
