Appalling!

If I could give Henry Adams Lettings Chichester less than one star I would. As tenants paying an inflated monthly rent for a small, tired property in Chichester, which we rented for nine months, we could not have experienced worse customer service. There were countless problems with the property which were either not addressed at all, or addressed incredibly slowly and incompetently by the staff at Henry Adams Lettings Chichester. As a result, we suffered nine months of discomfort, inconvenience and stress. During our tenancy there was a high turnover of staff and a clear lack of leadership at Henry Adams Lettings Chichester. Needless to say, we would certainly not recommend them!

Love our new home, thank you all at Henry Adams

We have now secured our rental property through Henry Adams and I can honestly say a professional but friendly service from the first viewing to collecting the keys to our new home. We delt with Charlie Salter through the process and he was understanding, informative and very pleasant from start to finish. I dont often write reviews but thought Henry Adams and the great staff deserved a good review as we are absolutly delighted with our new home.

It's a shame 1 star is all I can put

It's a shame 1 star is all I can put, they don't take care of their tenants, the landlord has taken months to do basic things. Thought to edit to address the comment, contacting the letting agency as requested under has been done multiple times but simple request are not answered and neither are the serious ones. So maybe a bad review is just the way to get their attention. Good to know... :D

I would advise if you are renting you stay away from Henry Adams! I reported a list of maintenance issues a year ago such as exposed wires in my bathroom and they have ignored all my request to get anything fixed. They barely reply to emails. Tell you what you want to hear on the phone and then ignore your requests completely. It's very stressful to deal with them at all.

Highly recommend Henry Adams

Henry Adams, and in particular Lesley-Anne, were extremely helpful in finding us a rental for my elderly parents. Communication was good and once a property had been decided on the whole process was very smooth and efficient. Their 6 month rental is now up so we have once again asked Lesley-Anne to help find us a new property.

I bought my house through Tracey Killing, and the service she provided was fantastic. She was incredibly responsive, helpful and no-nonsense, and we were able to go from first viewing to exchange almost without a hiccup and within about a month, which was largely down to her efforts. The arrangements that Henry Adams had put in place to deal with covid-19 were very effective - the virtual viewing was great, and the precautions that we took in attending the in-person viewing were practical and non-intrusive.
