TrustpilotSTAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY
Absolutely shocking service and completely un-professional, arrogant and aggressive attitude. I offered the asking price for a property. I was the first viewer, and a cash buyer without a house to sell. No requirement for a survey and could complete without seaches if required at break neck speed. I even put in a slightly higher offer in to secure the sale. You may ask why I didn't get the property?? That's because the estate agent did not qualify our status properly after being told I was very proceedable and could complete quickly. They also wanted to get into either a contract race and go down the greedy route of getting higher offers to get more commission. Shame on you!

TrustpilotIt is very easy to see why most Carlisle houses are listed with them
I am such a difficult customer and they saw us through several attempts to buy properties and, of course, the one we bought was through them in the end.

GoogleI would like to thank both Karen McCarthy and Louise Birkett at the Penrith office for all the help they gave me when selling my property at Southwaite Green. They arranged and attended viewings and provided feedback which was helpful. I would recommend Cumbria Properties

GoogleReally happy with the whole process. Karen was our point of contact and she's been at all times very professional, corteus, helpful and efficient. Buying a house is always a process that makes one apprehensive but with her prompt responses we never felt in a limbo. Thank you :-)

TrustpilotNo attention to detail
They claim that they ‘managed’ our property for over ten years while we were living abroad. When we decided to return, and the tenants departed, we realised how little attention this agency paid to detail. Their inspections were superficial.

Bought from these guys during lockdown and they couldn’t be more helpful especially with the seller having health issues. Karen was an absolute star and kept me updated throughout going that extra mile. Thank you for all your help.

Thank you for the lovely review!

GoogleI'm not at all impressed with the service provided. I had to constantly chase for news and their communications were rare and poor. Furthermore, they only became attentive once the deal was done, and they wanted their £2.5k. I spent 10 years in my earlier career as an estate agent and would have been embarrassed to have offered such poor service.

GooglePoor communication throughout, it fell to us to establish - weeks later -why we were not featuring on Rightmove following the withdrawal of an offer. Communication around updating the advert with new photographs also poor. I don't usually write reviews but this one was necessary.

GoogleKaren and her team in Penrith were excellent, very professional, helpful and always available for any queries consequently our sale was successful as it was managed well. I would strongly recommend vendors to use this branch of the firm. Francis & Madeleine Murphy.
