GoogleThe team at Westcoast Patchway with my sale led by Louis and assisted by Ian provided a very good service from initial marketing through to completion. Whilst it wasn't a straight forward process, Louis was always helpful in ensuring progress. He also helped us regarding our purchase even before we'd put in an offer! GoogleHelen Duthie and her team provided the support we required to market and ultimately sell my fathers property after his death. The conveyancing took 10 months and Helen and her team did everything they could to keep the sale on track and i was kept informed of progress of the chain on a regular basis.

GoogleWould never use this estate agent again. Although they were are agent they completely rode rough shod over us in favour of the buyer. Communication with the team was very poor and below what was expected. Certain staff members were bit patronising at times. Viewings made on days we had personnal appointments they even let one potential buyer come back to visit 4 times. Manager never wanted to help us with are questions when buying are new property through same company. Louis was always polite and always tried to his best unlike the Manager im sorry to say. (D Nicholls co owner of new property) Further to your response I still feel I was justified with our comments we had little support from you as an estate agent I see you failed to comment on the estate agent trying to book the surveyor in behind our backs to hurry the sale up which is bad practice. It was our choice not yours which day and who we used to survey, the house warming gift a bunch of flowers was accepted as an apology re the above an admission of wrong doing on your part. I was not given the flowers in the office hope this clears
Hi D Nicholls, I am very sorry to read your review. Whilst you are fully entitled to your personal opinions, I cannot accept some of your comments. I would like to start by addressing what you said about our communication. We spent many hours, on many days, on the phone to you whilst the sale of your home and your purchase were progressing. We also liaised extensively with all solicitors, mortgage brokers, surveyors, your purchasers and the sellers of your related purchase throughout. I can see from our detailed records that come the end of the transaction you were communicating with no fewer than 6 members of our team in three different offices totalling many hours of phone conversations. I would class that as an exceptional personal service. When booking appointments, we always arranged these with you first to ensure they were convenient; appointments were never arranged without your prior consent. I do agree that it was disappointing that an interested party viewed your property four times without then proceeding to purchase. However, as you’ll know from your own personal experience, some people require several viewings before proceeding. We would always be reluctant to discourage viewings for fear of preventing a potential sale on your property. I also take issue with your comments on not answering your questions on your related purchase. I am fully confident when I say that we did our utmost to answer all of your queries. You must appreciate that a lot of these questions required answering by third parties and, on several occasions, this was your own solicitor. We do not believe in giving false or misleading answers, so I am sorry if not all your questions were answered directly by us. I am sure you understand our reasoning. We as a company pride ourselves on excellent communication with both sellers and buyers and I am more than satisfied, from the extensive recorded notes we have, that our teams managed your sale and purchase outstandingly well. I feel that we committed an above average number of hours to your transactions and can only conclude by saying I am sorry that our service did not live up to your expectations. GoogleI recently used Westcoast Properties to rent accommodation in the Patchway area. I dealt with Jacques who was very helpful and found a suitable accommodation for me within a few days. I was able to move in 2 weeks after viewing. I was extremely happy with Westcoast's service and especially Jacques.
