We have had a wonderful experience using Payne & Co to sell our family home of 50 years here in Oxted. Their valuation was spot on, they brought in qualified buyers efficiently and quickly and within a month we had an offer. My wife and I recently purchased a property where Payne and Co were the agents acting on behalf of the sellers. We were part of a chain and the sale was complex. However, the agents at Payne and Co (Karen and Stuart we dealt with primarily) were fantastic in communicating with us and other relevant parties in the chain, taking a lot of the stress out of the situation, allowing the sale to go ahead smoothly. I would highly recommend using them if you are considering selling your property in the area. Not a good experience with Payne and Co unfortunately. Viewed a house and said we’d like to take it. Waited over a week to be contacted back. Called and was told “leave it with me” by various people , yet never heard anything back. Finally after calling I was told they are “waiting for the landlord to get back, as his friend is interested in the property” That’s not my problem , sorry. Poor communication and customer care

Payne & Co were instructed to sell our property in March 2023 during a very difficult time in the market. Whilst the property went under offer on two separate occasions during the course of the year unfortunately the buyers changed their mind and we had to return to the market The property was eventually sold in December 2023. Throughout I was very impressed with the guidance we received. regular updates and excellent advice primarily from Stuart and Sophie. We did consider using another agent at one stage but by comparison I felt that Payne & Co were much more professional in their approach. I would not hesitate to recommend them.
