We are an established estate and lettings agent based in central Oxford with a sister branch in Thame. We have been selling, letting and managing properties in and around Oxford for 15 years including in Cowley, Headington, Marston, Summertown, Botley, Central Oxford, Kidlington, Woodstock, Yarnton and Wheatley. We find tenants of all types for landlords, including professionals, academics, post & under-graduate students, and foreign nationals visiting for work and study. Our professional property managers look after landlord properties pre-occupation, during tenancies and post tenancy, ensuring that rent is collected, repairs and maintenance are completed cost-effectively and tenants and landlords are guided through the process when tenancies conclude. GoogleBe warned, we have had a really terrible experience with Martin+Co Oxford. They are off-hand in their approach to clients and left us hanging in a very desperate situation. They are totally money focused and the human side of the transition is swiftly swept out of the way. It's only the money. Do not expect compassion or kindness from them, they are hard! Never have we had a stressful dealings with an agency before this time. We have been through extreme duress and stress with them. We are now taking our case with Martin+Co Oxford to the Property Ombudsman. If you have a choice, go somewhere else.
Sometimes the provision of feedback is malicious in nature and this is an example of that. Delia provided information on her application form that subsequently proved to be inaccurate. And, it was her decision to withdraw from the tenancy application just 3 days before her proposed move-in date. We will defend our actions when asked to do so by The Property Ombudsman as we believe we acted professionally throughout. kind regards, Bill

GoogleHi My husband will be attending The Said Business School this coming September. With being in South Africa - I was not sure how we would find accommodation in Oxford to suit our needs. I sent through a request on the Martin and Co website and got a response from Sam - a letting agent from Martin and Co. Sam responded to me within hours of my initial query - and within days I had secured and apartment for my husband and I that met all our specifications. Being from South Africa - I was not able to view the apartment. Sam put my mind at ease and went to the apartment and took recent pictures of he apartment to send me. She also made recommendations to the landlord of what needed to be done - in order for the apartment to be handed over to me. (Cleanign etc). Sam was great and she described the apartment and all the furniture to me in detail. She was my eyes. Sam is one of the friendliest and most efficient rental agent I have ever worked with. She responded to every single one of my emails - answering every single one of my questions. This was all done within minutes of me sending her an email. Sam I thank you for all your help - and if anyone needs help to find any accommodation in Oxford - you will be highly recommended to them by me. I could not have asked for better service. In particular, Paul Dashwood Evans was highly professional; he gave us a video tour of the properties we were considering and gave us his own honest assessment of the differences between them. Since then we have selected the property he most strongly recommended for our family, and we could not be happier with the property and location. GoogleVery happy to recommend Martin & Co for those looking to rent in the Oxford area. I was shown around a property by Connor, who was polite and friendly. Once I'd decided to make an offer, Luke was extremely helpful in securing the property for us and did an excellent job of negotiating the move in date with the landlord on our behalf. He has been very responsive to my queries, and has even contacted me outside of office hours to make sure I am updated with any developments. Very happy with the customer service.

GoogleMartin & Co have looked after my 6 rental properties in Oxford since 2007 so clearly I have been satisfied with the service received otherwise I would not have used them for so long. Recently I decided to sell up and retire and again Martin & Co have provided a great service to get the sales moving and completed (sometimes in challenging circumstances that have prevailed since 2019). Full marks to their sales team for getting good buyers and for good ongoing communication and hard work.

Mudassar (Maz) came and did the valuation for us and completely put or minds at ease that the process would be handled sensitively when the time came to sell.
