GoogleI have the pleasure to share a great experience with Tanya from Carter and Jonas in Oxford branch. We were looking for an apartment for sabbatical in Oxford, and we tried to find an apartment from overseas in order to come and have a place to live and to apply for school for our three daughters. We wrote Tanya a mail, and from that point she was quite sensitive and kind. She tried to solve every problem we faced and she represented us as if we were there. GoogleIn Dec 2018 whilst visiting family in Wales, my wife and I decided we needed to rethink life and relocate from Oxford to Wales. In January we invited Julia Wilson from Carter Jonas to view the house, we then invited other estate agents. We decided to work with Julia at Carter Jonas, as she was totally engaged with us and our lovely home and could see the real worth and potential. Julia was not at all pushy as we found with other estate agents, but exuded professionalism and warmth. Julia gave us great advice. We were not hassled at all and our house sold on second viewing. We are now living a new life in Wales and we cannot thank Julia at Carter Jonas enough for helping us follow our dreams. We were so pleased to have Julia as part of our journey.

GoogleCarter Jonas Oxford was acting landlord when we were tenants for 3.5 years. They were very responsive to all issues and dealt quickly and professionally with all manner of needs. We then bought the property through Carter Jonas and again found the Oxford team professional and transparent throughout. Since then, we have used them to help find tenants for us which they did within a week. So all in all, we have had a pretty thorough experience working across both sales and lettings. We would definitely ask Carter Jonas to act on our behalf should we ever consider selling.

Terrible communication. Do not action what there customer has agreed with them. Do what they want to do after telling them and agreeing next steps. Really late at returning your deposits and holding on to your money. Lack of communication and waiting days if not weeks for responses. Always say call back and don't. If you have an issue with your property the emergency out of hours phone line will not answer there phones. Don't compensate you for having to leave the property due to flooding and boiler blowing up and having to stay in hotel. You may want to seek another estate agent.

Having used Carter Jonas for a few years renting out my property, I've now changed and would never go back to them. I've had poor service consistently especially when a tenant checks out. The diligence and attention is woefully lacking. Keys lost, damage not logged, poor check out service. Tradesmen hired that do a poor job and charge silly money for doing little. Poor monitoring of tenants. Seldom been happy and glad I've switched.
