The whole team at Breckon & Breckon have been so amazing thoughout our house purchase process. We had most regular contact with Brooke who was incredible at keeping us informed every step of the way and was always happy to answer any questions we had. We’d have honestly felt pretty lost without her and we’re beyond grateful for all the support, assistance and reassurance she gave us. Great experience and the most lovely team.

I highly recommend you choose another leasing/renting agency if you can-- there are many better managed ones in the Oxford area. During my renting period of 3 months with them, Breckon and Breckon provided very little flexibility, communication, and understanding. The flat was not as described/advertised nor was clean when I moved in. And after paying additional money to opt into flat fair- they still were overly punitive when I moved out. I cleaned the property thoroughly and they still charged me for an additional cleaning because they found one strand of hair... and took a picture of it as proof. They also lied and tried to charge me for a late checkout which flat-fair disputed. They are not a trustworthy nor delightful business to work with.

GoogleI recently rented an apartment via Breckon and Breckon (B&B) who provided a polished and professional service from start to finish. From my initial inquiry about renting a property to the punctual viewing and then all the way through to signing the contract and getting the keys B&B were friendly and efficient. Great customer service too in the follow-up comms, Phoebe and Louise are ace. Special thanks to Ollie who continues to impress with his excellent recall of every contractual detail.

GoogleI rented my flat through the Breckon & Breckon Summertown office in early 2019. As it was the first time I had rented out, the process at first seemed a bit daunting. But Rhys, Phoebe, Jodie and team were excellent, explaining things really clearly and showing a lot of patience with my questions. Since we rented the flat out, Rhys has been really responsive to any of my questions, answering me clearly and concisely. The monthly statement with breakdown of costs is really useful too. The team are an approachable, friendly and professional bunch. I can't recommend Breckon & Breckon Summertown office highly enough. James

GoogleThere is no doubt in my mind that if we had taken our £1m+ property to any other Estate Agent, then it would not have sold so quickly at the price finally agreed. Through the contacts of Luke Mazonowicz, although the property was marketed, we were able to receive an offer within just a few days of the house being on the market. The selling process was not that smooth as there were potential problems with the survey, problems with tenants and solicitors disagreeing over a 'Covid Clause'. Throughout the pressure to complete quickly and yet at the same time evict tenants, come up with extra documents, do searches and agree over completion dates, Luke remained a) contactable b) positive and c) helpful. Mention should also be made over the brochure produced by Breckon and Breckon. The pictures taken - in particular the kitchen - were superb. Breckon had previously marketed our property in 2016 (a buyer dropped out) so some of the preparatory work had already been done. This gave us confidence. There were delays, true, but outside of Breckon's control. Even though Luke was not always in the office he always replied to emails and phone messages quickly, informatively and professionally. One suggestion: it would be helpful if Breckon and Breckon produced a (branded) folder listing useful (though not recommended specifically) contacts for removals, builders, electricians etc etc. We went from houseowners (of 27 years standing) to tenants and so had to clear our enormous house of furniture in a short time. Some advice in terms of finding new accommodation and emptying the existing house would have been a useful add-on. Competitors to Breckon and Breckon Lettings do provide such help.

GoogleWe Viewed Deansfield Park in Ickford. Melissa was a great help, although there is no show homes she was still able to provide a great overview of the development via the 3D model. We also found her knowledge of the market and local area exceptional. We did not buy at this stage but will certainly be in touch when in a position to proceed to see what developments Melissa has at that time. We viewed a few new developments over the weeks and found other agents to not have as much knowledge of the area or provide a reassuring confident service.

Patrick at Breckon and Breckon Summertown went above and beyond the call of duty following up with solicitors and making sure that the chain was moving in the right direction and there were no significant hold ups. The team's knowledge of the area and the current market meant that we were able to secure the house we wanted in a highly competitive environment. To make the sale we needed to find a buyer right away and the team were out the next day, got the brochure signed off and we were on Rightmove and had viewings lined up in no time at all. They’re just sitting there to loot money. Hardly any service provided. They’ll eat your deposit money for sure. The customers are the only sufferers here, whether you pay a deposit or a reposit. They do not value customer’s money at all. Even after spending 250 on reposit and 400 on end of tenancy cleaning they’re charging 240 extra for dumb reasons.
