GoogleI don't have anything bad to say, apart from a small misunderstanding between the landlord and the agency about the bills included with the rent. Zach was absolutely lovely, very professional. Our moving in went swiftly and with no issues. Very pleased :)

GoogleThey let properties for Norfolk Homes , be aware if you let a property owned by Norfolk homes with this letting company you will not get your deposit back They delay the inspection to go over the time limit needed, and will charge you for every item, Norfolk homes then use the deposit to redecorated there properties ,this is totally unprofessional and illegal , please do not use this company Thankyou for your comments which are totally incorrect , before you respond get your facts right I still might progress with the case against you, which I am considering, you have used the tenancy system against your clients which may I remind you that you are not there just for the owners but the tenants as well , you use the timescales to delay the process needed to make the claim for the deposit, this is not what the tenancy deposit scheme should be used for as above do not use this company under any circumstances Also thankyou for admitting that the owners took the deposit, this not how the system works ,before anyone gets the deposit it must be agreed between both partiesNegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

GoogleI would highly reccomend using Alexander & Co for anyone looking to rent a property. I have lived in rented accomodation for 3 years and nothing was too much trouble for the team. Even through lockdown when problems cropped up at the home they were very swift to reply to emails and send maintenance people out to a time that suited me. As an NHS worker they happily had repairs done whilst i was working so away from the property. The move out process was very simple handled by Zac and Amy who helped finalise all monies owed to me through over paid rent. Thank you to all involved making it a simple and straightforward procedure.

I’ve had the unfortunate need to communicate with Alexander’s over several properties over the years and in each instance my enquiries have been dealt with the most unprofessional and snobbish attitude by their office staff. In fact, if I could rate them zero stars, I would. I find Eleanor, in particular, with her pretentious attitude forgets that her job is to sell houses and I don’t think it’s their place to question my affordability or if I have the ability to make sole decisions on behalf of myself and my partner Just because myself and my partner choose not to flash our wealth around, it doesn’t mean we cannot afford to buy any house they list, in cash. Which incidentally we can. I don’t think it’s right when every staff member I have encountered has such an unprofessional attitude, that it leaves one with a sense of dread when you see a house listed that is of interest that is unfortunately accompanied by their logo. I doubt my review, or the others I have read with a similar tone will have much effect on this company but I live in hope!

All the agents at Alexander and Co is just ignored me as a buyer and never updated on the property that I'm trying to buy.I have been in this situation for almost 4 months and nothing new every time I call I get the same reply(we will call you back) and that never happens. I regret dealing with this agency cos it is just a waste of time. I don't even recommend it to any potential buyer.

Alexander and Co (Norwich branch) need to familiarise themselves with the Tenant Fees Act 2019. They rented my young relative a property with known current rat infestation, only admitting to this in passing some weeks after the paperwork was signed. Now efforts to extricate from this insanitary housing are being met with a barrage of financial demands. It seems to me that this branch, at least, are enjoying opportunistically, the abundance of young, inexperienced students in this 2 university town

GoogleDisappointed!! I have been following online ads and always refreshing the page during the day to see the newest flats. I saw one property which matches perfectly what I am looking for and phoned Alexander and Co directly to book online viewing in the earliest availability on 22nd of September. I highlighted my interest in this property and explained I am just back from abroad so I am isolating myself in a different city thus wanted to rent the property after seeing the video(without seeing it physically). My best contact number, email address and WhatsApp number have been taken with the promise of sending the video on Friday. An appointment was scheduled on Friday around 4 pm (25th of September). A gentleman gave the promise to send the video directly after that time. On Friday I have been called to check whether I attend the viewing and approved for the virtual viewing. I called again to check if joining physically is necessary to rent this property I told I can join the viewing if needed! Another lady confirmed we can complete contract via email. However, no video sent on Friday. I called on Saturday again. My number, email etc have been noted again to send video on Saturday! Again no video, no call, no email, no response!! I think a healthy customer-agency relationship must start with trust, honesty and politeness. I found the staff really rude, segregationist and non-professional. Please don't expect to be called after giving your personal information to Alexander & Co in Norwich. I cannot trust this agency any more and I shared my experience to help people who are looking at a property online.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

GoogleTotal cowboys from start to finish. Note how the 5 star reviews are by one contribution "people" as they try to game the reviews? Note how they try to shut down any negative review in their wonderfully acerbic way? Avoid this lot at all costs - totally unprofessional outfit that should not be in business. The negative reviews are all true. UPDATE: They have flagged this as spam and tried to give it the "we take it seriously" and now Google Reviews are not showing the review everywhere - they are total cowboys gaming the reviews.

Google***THINK TWICE BEFORE USING, OR HAVING ANY INTERACTION WITH, THIS ESTATE AGENT*** There are so many other reputable, more established, Estate Agents to use in the Norwich area that provide high quality customer service. Given my experience with this company I strongly suggest to use a different Estate Agent if you want to deal with a company that is both professional and puts its customers first. Employees are rude, arrogant and derogatory. It's more than questionable how such an organisation continues to exist whilst providing such appalling customer interaction and service.NegativeProfessionalism
