I rented a house through this agency and the landlords were an elderly couple named Mr. and Mrs.Indge who I initially thought were a lovely couple ,but on handing in my tenancy they have been nothing but difficult and bitter over me leaving the property. They privately sent messages stating how I left the house/garden in a state of disrepair, but only six months earlier my inspection was that the house was in perfect condition so in six months how did I get it into a state of disrepair as this was my home .disgusting behaviour

Managing tenancies

As a Landlord, I've been very grateful for the high level of property management that A&C have provided over many years. Ella has worked exceptionally hard to ensure that the house is ready for new tenants - working with bathroom fitters and decorators, carpet suppliers, gardeners, heating specialists, Bucks CC and others, and efficiently managing the check in/out process. This is incredibly reassuring when living and working overseas. I commend Ella for her prompt responses and attention to detail to ensure that my house remains comfortable for tenants so that they can feel at home.

One of the worst estate agents out…

One of the worst estate agents out there. Sold me a property clearly sold as 'Freehold'. Only once I was around £2.5k in with fee's, solicitor costs, searches and surveys did i then get told it was actually a share of freehold properly. and came with extra costs. Way past the date to pull out and was to invested in (turns out they held this vital info back deliberately)..... When you talk to them they just try and wriggle out - to this day didnt get a formal apology. Wouldn't buy a house through them again - ALL BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!!!!

Amber always contacts me about any problems and ensures that I am happy with the price of repairs and then she always lets me know when they have been done. DO NOT USE OR YOU WILL REGRET

So we used this agency as they got some tenants and gave this big speech they are the biggest blah blah. If you use them you will suffer the worst nightmare.1. they got us two kids for tenants and their income was based on projected incomes. 2. The kids after a very short while fell under the ability to pay and vacated the premises without a deed of surrender or notifying the landlord. 3. Anytime there was an issue. The agency would find someone and double the price of the work. We were able to find people in 5mins who did everything for less than half of any quotes given by them.4. Their invoices would always have charges that were unexplained. When we asked about them, they would say we'll get back to you and never would, and they were not small charges they were always between 300-500£.5. They let the tenants out of the house with a deed of surrender and a fee was to be paid to do so. They never collected the fee and allowed them to leave. So they were now not paying rent for months they were liable for and the agency did nothing, seemed intentional.(lawyer is likely needed)6. The bills were also not paid as the agency didnt bother to check on exit this was done.All together they currently owe 7k possibly more. This was transpired in a very short period of time.They also have an illegal clause in their agreement confirmed by other agencies, that should you try to leave them. They will charge you 1 months rent plus vat. I spoke to a lawyer and its definitely illegal. A lawyer will likely need to be involved to deal with all of this but i felt nobody else should have to endure this. DO NOT USE THIS AGENCY. They are pure evil and lie after lie after lie.

They let properties for Norfolk Homes , be aware if you let a property owned by Norfolk homes with this letting company you will not get your deposit back They delay the inspection to go over the time limit needed, and will charge you for every item, Norfolk homes then use the deposit to redecorated there properties ,this is totally unprofessional and illegal , please do not use this company Thankyou for your comments which are totally incorrect , before you respond get your facts right I still might progress with the case against you, which I am considering, you have used the tenancy system against your clients which may I remind you that you are not there just for the owners but the tenants as well , you use the timescales to delay the process needed to make the claim for the deposit, this is not what the tenancy deposit scheme should be used for as above do not use this company under any circumstances Also thankyou for admitting that the owners took the deposit, this not how the system works ,before anyone gets the deposit it must be agreed between both partiesNegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value
