After talking with the director of the company when she had seen this review we communicated several times and several months after we left the property and a couple weeks after I exchanged emails with the director I am pleased to finally have a chunk of our deposit back. Which I still firmly believe was rightfully ours as we didn't leave the said property in a state at all. However as much as we have resolved the deposit issue it doesn't excuse the treatment towards myself and my family from the actual staff in the Newport office. They were rude and arrogant! We had tried several times to reason with them, my husband had the phone put down on him and they had all been very rude!! We were absolutely disgusted with how we were treated, not only were they holding onto our hard earned money but throughout the tenancy we had at our last address, there were several issues regarding maintenance issues within the house that we were promised somebody would come out and it never happened.. We put new flooring down in that house and yet they still refused to speak to us via the phone and withhold our deposit. Never been treated so poorly by a letting agent before. In saying all of this though I am pleased to say that the director of the company was always very polite towards myself, she communicated well with me, she kept to her word when she said she would be in touch and has helped to resolve the issues surrounding the deposit so was the complete opposite to the staff who myself and partner had dealt with before. Maybe the director needs to give the staff in the Newport office a lesson in customer service and communication as she was a pleasure to talk too. They could learn alot from this lady.

Went for a viewing this week to a property that Red Key Lets we’re advertising, and all seemed positive, and was told I would get a call in the afternoon to confirm if all was ok or not. No call whatsoever, and found out online the property is now let. Not even a courtesy call, which is quite rude. Wouldn’t bother wasting your time if I was you.

Horrible experience. Never seen such money greedy estate agents. If you are a tenant, this is not the agent for you!!Once your tenacy comes to an end, they will try and drain every last penny of your deposit for things dust which they have photographed sideways and may more!!!!

My advice to anyone thinking of renting with Red Key is to take photos of every inch of the property the day they move in because when it comes time to leave, they will fleece you for every penny of your Security Deposit. And don’t even get me started on the effectiveness of their repair standards. A leaky gutter? No problem, we’ll just bodge it with some bathroom sealant! Crack in the wall? Of course we won’t come back to fix it! But we’ll certainly charge you for the faults that were already present when you moved in. The gall on display from Red Key is truly something to behold! And the best part? They even acknowledged they’d received our emails reporting faults, they’d clearly just chosen to ignore it. I have just one question now. If Red Key can bill me for things that we as tenants didn’t do, can I send them a rent refund request for not holding up their end of the deal either?NegativeResponsiveness, Professionalism

This is the best property service agency in newport. All the other agencies don't even entertain tenants. I was struggling for almost a month to find rental property in newport.
