Katrina was so helpful with our moving process. Moving house is a very stressful time but Katrina tried her very best to make sure that everything went smoothly for us. We needed a couple of things changing with the property and the contract and she managed to sort these out for us as professionally and smoothly as they could go whilst keeping us updated and helping us with any other queries we had along the way. AVOID AT ALL COST!! We bought our house through them 2 years ago and it’s the worst experience I’ve had with any estate agents. I’ve since seen people dropping them in my street and using other agents that sold the house much quicker after having it listed for ages with this branch. Just a few things that went wrong with us: didn’t show up to appointments, canceled and reschedule several times, came to the visit unprepared with no information and also didn’t try to find out for us, lied about so many aspects which had been a nightmare when renovating the house. We made an offer in June and they delayed the whole process by 2 months because of their inability to respond emails, questions and arrange a second visit at a time that worked for us without rescheduling many times. Awful, awful experience, please save time and money by hiring someone else. I wish seller would have known how bad they were as felt any commission, even if lowest in the market, was way to much.

Want to know why estate agents have a bad reputation, all your questions answered here. I bought a house through this office a few years ago, and have since spoken to others who also bought through them. Zero communication, gave me the keys before the seller moved out, and clearly lied about a higher offer to get you to increase your offer. They did exactly the same with others. Crazy how they get away with it. Literally do nothing for their percentage. Would never ever use them again.

Bairstow Eves, The Absolute Worst Estate Agents on the Planet! I honestly can’t believe how shockingly terrible Bairstow Eves were at every single stage. We were searching for a property, and when I called to book a viewing, the suggested time was inconvenient for me. I spoke with Raj and decided to make an offer on the property without viewing it first, which they accepted. However, once we moved in, the reality was shocking. The property was filthy, and key appliances, the oven, washing machine, and fridge freezer, were all broken. On top of that, there was a significant creak in the living room door. We contacted the office to report these issues, but their response was unsatisfactory. They provided a washing machine after one month, replaced the fridge after two months, and finally fixed the oven after one year. Customer service? Non-existent. They showed blatant disregard for our concerns, constantly passing us between different teams like we were an inconvenience they wanted to avoid. Every call was met with excuses, delays, and empty promises. And to make matters worse, it took more than four months to get my deposit back, which was incredibly frustrating. Overall, it was the worst experience I've ever had with an estate agent. I would strongly advise avoiding them!
