We were delighted with the market insights provided by Scott Lewis & the overview by the branch manager Ian Merchant to keep the legal process on track. Karl Genchi was very quick to get the letting process off to a flying start with viewings booked into double figures for the first day after we we completed the purchase - the property was let, at the asking monthly rent, just three days after it went on the market. A huge thanks to the team at Stratford, especially Scott. I recently bought a property with these guys on the seller's end, and Scott really pulled out all the stops to get questions answered and smooth over any crossed wires between our conveyancers. The negotiation process was made pragmatic and quick, and, for a first-time buyer, having Scott's years of experience on my side made the entire process a lot less painful than it could have been. They are a well-established team with masses of expertise, and clients come back to them year after year; I'll be doing the same when I next come to buy or sell. Office easy to find a stone's throw from central Stratford, available 6 days a week, large portfolio and absolute experts in the local area. Cannot recommend them enough.

Wondering how many of these 5 star reviews are legitimate as it’s like night and day to the service I’ve been provided. Did they get me an asking price offer within weeks? Yes. (By luck I feel - only 2 viewings. A third viewing arrived late and Bairstow Eves told them it was too late to view, even though we would have been very happy to show them round ourselves had we realised). Once obtained, did they totally lose interest in me, ignored questions in emails, fail to return calls and also fail to inform me when the mortgage survey had been booked, resulting in a reschedule and further delays? Yes. 2 stars for getting me an offer. -3 for abysmal customer service.

Yakob was super friendly and helpful. He made the process easy and stress free, and actually fun. Having used other companies and meeting different agents for different properties I can say that Bairstowe eves in Stratford was by far the best mainly because of the people, one of them being Yakob who showed us around the property in a friendly and helpful way. He also picked us up and drove us around in his car so we could get to where we needed to be after the viewing. I found him to be efficient and fast. I strongly recommend Yakob at Bairestowe eves in Stratford if you want a stress free and easy ride in finding and securing a property. I am very happy with everything he did.

Working with Karen was a breeze from the moment we phoned her to the last time we saw her when she gave us the keys. Also, we got a place 4 minutes from where I work which was absolutely brilliant, so it was a very happy time and honestly it felt like we had known Karen for a long time even though we hadn’t. These nuances count for a lot as you look back and say wow I can’t believe how perfectly well that went. I don’t normally leave reviews however I received the most amazing customer service from Karen today that I had to share. Best service of my life to date!! I needed to bring in my proof of ID into another branch however it was closed. I called the Stratford branch to check their closing time, Karen picked up the phone and informed me that they had just closed. I informed Karen of my situation regarding not being able to bring my ID any other day before my move as I was travelling. Karen was very understanding of my situation and agreed to wait for me. She didn’t wait for 5 mins or 10mins; It was a whole 30 minutes by the time I got there and she was still there and was very pleasant. If that is not exceptional service then I do not know what is. I am beyond grateful. Karen: if you ever get to see this review, thank you so much. You are such an amazing human being!!

We were shown the property we ended up buying by Scott. He was a good communicator, relaying information to us efficiently, with clarity, and making rapid strides to progress the purchase, all of which were greatly appreciated. However, nearing the point of exchange and completion he called us to have a go at me about how many days he wanted us to leave between exchange and completion, without seeking clarification from us. As it happened, the reason why he was calling was based on incorrect information. I think this was incredibly unprofessional and overstepping the line by trying to pressuse us to act in a particular way when he is not our lawyer.

Hi, Had an overall good experience with Bairstow Eves. We had Ian come round to value the property and explain services provided. He was professional and friendly and Bairstow managed to sell the property above the value price within 2 weeks of being on the market. The marketing and advertising was good and chasing solicitors throughout the sale (quite critical service) was great. We were recommended to have an open house which was very effective. However, the estate agent we had to show people around arrived late and did not come very prepared or leave time to ask us for information meaning he was unable to answer some of the questions asked at the open house. In the end, the buyers we had were ones that we had shown round the property ourselves. I would recommend Bairstow, but would also make sure to ensure that the estate agent who comes round for viewings is prepared.
