An initial review post first contact with these agents - I spoke with Caitlin at the Newbury office. It was a very positive call compared to many agents I've dealt with over the last few years. Caitlin was polite and friendly, she really took the time to note a detailed history and to thoroughly explore my reasons for purchasing. This gives me confidence that more thought will go into the selection of possible properties to match my needs. I didn't feel rushed / pressured in any way, and I look forward to exploring property possibilities with these agents.

We have used J&R for a number of years to manage our property. The service which they provide has been excellent, especially Melissa. Melissa is our direct contact and any queries or requests have been completed swiftly with no hesitation. Moved into a property let by jones robinson. We asked for property to be professionally cleaned as this was during pandemic and I was pregnant, however this was cleaned by the landlords handy man quick dust and vacuum. When we moved in, the house was filthy and we had to clean it ourselves despite being assured this was being done professionally and then being told it was done to a reasonable standard. We had various issues during our time in property, carpets were old and stained, splash back in kitchen broken, garden overrun by weeds and ants. Shower is very old and hot water only lasts 5 minutes and you certainly couldnt run a bath. None of these were looked even though we reported the issues. Now we moved out, we paid for house to be professionally cleaned and they did a good job, however jones robinson claim its not good enough and want to charge us again for it. Considering the state the house was in when we moved in, they should compensate us for cleaning at the time. Very disgusted by them and think they are scamming us as not wanting to give us our deposit. Never had issues with other agents before, the agent we are with now have been incredible. They may be good for sales but be very careful if renting from them as you probably won't get your deposit back. What's funny is they did an inspection and mentioned how well we had maintained the property and this was just before we moved... very unhappy with them..

My Partner and I are currently in the process of purchasing our first home through Jones Robinson, and had been waiting in a chain for 8 months. Although this was a very long and stressful time for us, the team at Jones Robinson have been fantastic and really responsive. In particular Tayler who has been our main point of contact, who has updated us each week with progress of the chain, and would regularly suggest ways to get things moving. I bought a property through Jones Robinson and I have to say the service provided was second to none. Someone was always available on the phone or via email, and all questions were answered promptly. Jones Robinson wasn't our agent but we bought our property from them, with a complicated and long chain and every hold up possible, Paula Rudge was absolutely amazing and on the ball every step of the way. I have just sold my house through Jones and Robinson and can not recommend them enough. Caroline was my main point of contact who continually kept me updated throughout the whole process with the conveyancing stages. I never felt I had to ask for updates as Caroline would always ring in the week just to confirm the progress of the stages, and to ensure everything was going as smooth as it possibly could. When talking to other people about their house move they stress their frustration that they have to chase their Estate agent for updates and I’m always quick to say I’ve never had to do that with Jones and Robinson!

I called Jones Robinson in Newbury looking for a rental property and spoke with Clare Black who was extremely helpful.
