We decided to try Jones Robinson after being really disappointed with a well regarded local independent agent. Phil turned up to tell me what they would do differently to other estate agents. I was duly convinced and we instructed them to sell our rather niche property. They've been brilliant. Everything he said they would do, they did. They do not just stick it on Right Move and hope for the best like everyone else does. They cross-sell, they ring their database, they chase up leads, they match people up in all different ways. We had seven viewings in a week and sold for £5k over asking price. No mean feat in this awkward market. When the sale was progressing, Paul looked after me. He kept in weekly contact with the buyer, building a rapport with them so they were far less likely to pull out. Every time I phoned the office, the front of house team were always really helpful, upbeat and friendly. Unlike the other agent, they didn't try to fob me off, even if they were busy. Everything was really thorough and handled very professionally. There was a delay on completion day and the staff at Jones Robinson were ringing up and down the chain to find out the reason for the delay. This is invaluable as the Solicitors cannot speak to the whole chain but a good estate agent can and will. I never felt like I needed to chase them up on anything; they were on top of everything all the time, offering advice and guidance. They are more expensive than other agents but why waste time on a cheap agent who won't sell your house if it's at all unusual? You only pay if they sell the house so what have you got to lose? I've recommended Jones Robinson to everyone I know.

I am giving 5 stars with no hesitation. It started with a visit from the wonderful James and then Paul took me through the process to the finish. It was by no means straight forward and was fraught with difficulties and let downs along the way. The stresses and strains were of the chart. Paul was a rock throughout, he kept my spirits up and was always supportive and reassuring. Everyone in the office is great and nothing is too much. I have bought and sold many houses over the years and this experience with Jones Robinson has been head and shoulders above the rest. Thank you so much to Paul and the team.

In a process that was repeatedly let down by our conveyancers and plagued by months of silence from virtually every other party involved, Paul Evans was an absolute standout, and frankly, the sole reason our sale completed at all. While others dragged their feet or went quiet for weeks on end, Paul took it upon himself to chase daily on our behalf, keep every thread moving, and ensure nothing slipped through the cracks. He didn't wait to be asked, he just got on with it. Every time we heard nothing from anyone else, we could rely on Paul to be in touch with an update, a plan, or progress. That kind of proactive communication is rare in any industry, but in property it feels almost unheard of. In a world of mediocrity, Paul's work ethic, initiative, and genuine commitment to his clients is something else entirely. He single-handedly pushed our deal over the line when everything around it was stalling, and thanks to him, we move in this weekend. If you're buying or selling through Jones Robinson in Newbury, make sure Paul is on your team. You won't find better.

I just want to update this review because we finally got all our ducks in a row and moved in mid-July 2024. It was quite a journey and throughout JR were so patient and helpful. How many times did we "just have another look" at the house we wanted to buy? I've lost count but there was always someone available to show us round. Rachel said she really enjoyed the time when my husband brought his guitar to check the sound proofing! Thanks for everything! JR always answer promptly & have information at their fingertips. Our initial consultation with Beth Rawcliffe (sales director) was really professional, informative and very helpful. We knew after our meeting Beth , that we had made the right choice in choosing Jones Robinson to sell our property. The standard of marketing was exceptional. The brochure was fabulous and the added video walk through was a real bonus . We were totally overwhelmed with how many viewings we had …In fact we had never experienced this amount before when selling a house!!
