GoogleAs a mortgage broker, it was great to work along side an estate agent that actually put in the hard hours throughout the duration of the sales process. Paula was fantastic at chasing the solicitors, vendors and other estate agents in the chain to make sure everything was going as smoothly as possible, and keeping everyone in the chain up to date with the progress. I honestly believe that if it wasn't for all her hard work, the chain would have collapsed, and our clients would not have got their dream house. Thanks again Paula.

GoogleI have sold my house with Jones Robinson. Beth has been my main contact Reassuring us all the way through. Her knowledge and professionalism is unbelievable her team were superb. But back to Beth I know that I have never seen anyone lead a team in such a great way. To have gained such respect from all team members. Beth’s contact with us has been fantastic, calm timely updates nothing is to much but most all such a lovely lady we would Highly recommend jones Robinson Estate Agents. GoogleAwful customer service and pure laziness. Here is just a few of the problems we had with JR in the year of living in our property. Upon moving in we noticed a leak on our celling, so we reported it to them via a telephone call, nothing was done at all, all that was said was "wait for it to dry out" One day when my girlfriend was in hospital i left my keys there and had no way of getting in... one of the neighbors told me that they have a spare key and had let them in before so i called and the lady on the phone had 0 compassion and just said that the spare key for our flat had been lost and gave me the key of a locksmith with a quote of £240! There has been endless problems, even once we had moved out they charged us £120 for a cleaner for "minor cleaning issues" and when i contested they came back to say that unfortunately theres nothing they can do as the landlord has already got a cleaner in and paid them for the day. Disgusting service and i will forever be warning people not to go through JR for properties where possible.
Our property management team have confirmed the following in response to your comments: When the leak was reported, this was raised with the dedicated maintenance team. They subsequently advised us that the leak had been resolved, and therefore the issue was closed down on our system. A request was made to allow time for the relevant area of the flat to dry in order to assess whether the repair had been successful and to then further assess any possible water damage. It is our understanding that you had locked yourself out of the property and, as the landlord had given you two sets of keys and not provided us with a spare set, we were unable to help in this instance, but provided you with details of our recommended locksmith. The amount deducted from your deposit for cleaning costs was the amount incurred by the landlord to bring the property back to a clean condition to re-let it.

GoogleI have worked and continue to work closely with Paula on multiple sales throughout the conveyancing process. We have excellent communication both by email and weekly catch up calls which really helps to get a feel for how transactions are progressing and she gives helpful updates about the remainder of the chain. She will also be on hand to chase other conveyancers, estate agents and clients where required. I've worked in conveyancing for around 10 years now, and the relationship built with Jones Robinson and Paula is one of the best to date.

GoogleThe staff at Jones Robinson have been excellent start to finish - from promptly arranging viewings at properties to suit me, to supporting me right up to exchange. Ever since I had my offer on a property accepted, Paula was excellent throughout the process. She provided regular updates to me, explaining everything very clearly, which made the purchase as stress-free as possible. I would highly recommend using their services. As a first-time buyer, they've set a very high standard for any house moves I might make in the future.

GoogleJames Oldring and the JR staff were all so very helpful as they acted on our behalf. We were selling a close relative's house under difficult circumstances and from the very first meeting the sale was handled very professionally and with sensitivity to our situation. The quality of the promotional material on the property was excellent, including a video and photographs. We were constantly updated when there was a viewer and we received regular feedback from the agent who completed the show round. When our first buyer fell through, James and his team put the property back on the market and had another buyer within a few days. The staff were always able to answer queries and got back to us very quickly. Would we recommend Jones Robinson and/or use them again? We definitely would!!

My first mortgage experience felt quite stressful with lots of chasing up of other people but Paula took a lot of this stress away from me and guided and helped me the whole time by explaining anything I didn’t understand or was confused about!! The viewing with Kate was exciting and enthusiastic, she was friendly and helpful. Whilst going through the - buying a property - process, as first time buyers, Paula has been the rock we turned to. GoogleI haven't quite finished my journey with Jones Robinson yet but I wanted to write a review on how fantastic they have been so far, especially Paula Rudge. My solicitor was the victim of a cyber attack and we could complete on my sale but not my purchase. Paula has worked tirelessly to keep the chain working, emailing and calling the solicitors, estate agents and clients. She has worked later than her contracted hours, often logging back on once she has returned home. She has also been extremely firm with others in the chain that were perhaps not doing as much as they could do! I can not thank her enough.

Molly's always been delightful over the phone and in person and no question I've had to ask about finding a property in my price range has ever been a problem for her, and also when it's come down to viewing the properties Kate has been wonderful and helpful and very detailed when showing off the properties and also has been very flexible with any last minute changes I've needed to make and going the extra mile to drive me between properties. GoogleLike many, it seems, my house sale was not a simple one and I think that is really when you can separate the decent estate agents from the terrible ones - thankfully I chose well in engaging Jones Robinson. I sold to my second buyer after the first dropped out, leaving my property to go back on the market after all the interest hikes of 2023 and at one of the slowest times of the year (and relying on the patience of the sellers of the place I was buying). Despite those challenges, and a looming mortgage expiry on a favourable interest rate, I successfully sold and relocated before needing to go for a new mortgage offer - and that was entirely down to Jones Robinson's brilliant assistance. James (who also did the valuation) was a voice of reason after my first buyer dropped out without any warning and little explanation - always distressing - and then worked with the team to get the house back on the market immediately. Following that, Paul Evans handled things when I had a new buyer in tow. He was excellent in every way and the antithesis of everything you hear about Estate Agents. Always quick to respond to any enquiries I had, he doggedly kept the sale on track, smoothed over the bumps, and ensured communication between buyer, solicitors, and myself. There were tense moments, lots of frustrations with other solicitors and parties, but ultimately we got through it all. At the beginning of the process, I was recommended to use the Jones Robinson conveyancing service - I had expected this to be handled in-house, locally, but I was handled by a conveyancing company in Leeds. To be fair, they were excellent too and I'd use them again in a heartbeat, but if you want the comfort of being able to quickly turnaround documents and deliver them in person, then maybe give that service additional thought. Overall, I am very happy that I chose Jones Robinson and I would definitely recommend them.

GoogleI really couldn't give Jones Robinson any less than 5*. They have just sold yet another property for me; 3 in a row! I have been struck by their continued professionalism and overall friendliness of all their staff; in particular, James, who valued my recent house and got the price spot-on, as it sold within 2 days! Paul was also outstanding in keeping me updated whilst my transaction went through; it was great to have a friendly, approachable and calm person on the other end of the phone. I've dealt with many estate agents over the years, and you'd find it hard to beat Jones Robinson's professional work ethos and care for their clients. I'd recommend them in a heartbeat! Thank you all for taking the stress out of what usually is a stressful time.
