Ben Robertson was the only estate agent that we came across that explained everything we needed to know about renting our first property. As my husband was from Bali I was concerned that It would affect our renting prospects.. Other estate agents Haven’t been very helpful compared to Ben. If it is integrity you are looking for in an estate agent then Chancellors of Newbury is a shining example. It was a refreshing experinece to encounter Luke (the manager) and Zoe (their wonderful agent) from the sales team in Newbury as we have experienced nothing but excellence and efficiency combined with the highest levels of professionalism from two people who are clearly a credit not only to themselves and their company but also to us as the clients they represent, comunicating to us with honest, transparent, advice and feedback. I would not hesitate to recommend their services to anyone considering selling their property regardless of the size or value as it is clear they are easily able to compete at every level in the market place whatever the numbers involved.

Horrible experience so far with Chancellors. They will make all kinds of service promises but will not actually keep them once you move in. Post that the support Inhave received so far is horrible. The flat that I moved into is in a horrible shape and the property management team of Chancellors have not done anything yet to fix them. Just horrible. As per my experience with Chancellors till now, Would not recommend at all.

I recently used chancellors estate agents to move to one of there rented property's . My dealing was with Declan Hartigan ,Who was very informed very helpful and welcoming. Very professional throughout the whole process keeping me informed with a personal touch. It's always a nice surprise when somebody remembers your name considering the amount of people they have to deal with. I'd just like to say a huge thank you to the team at Chancellors Newbury, specifically Lauren Moorcroft, for helping us to find a fantastic property. I really do believe that without Laurens professionalism and expertise we would still be looking for somewhere matching all of our criteria. There were a few setbacks along the way so it really wasn't plain sailing (entirely our own fault may I add), However, Laurens persistence to deliver from start to finish really didn't seem to let up at any point and our experience really wouldn’t have been the same without her help. Once more I’d like to say thanks to Lauren and rest assured, I shall be using chancellors again.

After looking at several houses for sale in this area with other estate agents, I was not impressed by either the description/quality of the houses on viewing, or the manner in which the viewings were conducted. I then contacted Chancellors and had a conversation with Maxine Hall who turned out to an excellent agent for the company. While conducting viewings there was no pressure on time, or pressure selling. Her conduct and advice was exemplary from the first contact to the day we picked up the keys to our new house. I would recommend Chancellors to anyone and also highly recommend Maxine.

Our experience of Chancellors has been excellent. Maxine was fantastic from the start. She met us at a difficult time just after Mum had passed away and understood how we were feeling. The house was marketed and Maxine was enthusiastic about the house and positive in every respect, all the time respectful for our feelings for a house that had been a family home. Feedback was excellent and the sale went through very smoothly and quickly. We would have no hesitation using Chancellors again, and particularly Maxine. I am from a Sales and Marketing background and it is not very often I see someone as professional and charismatic as Maxine was throughout, not only did she look after us she also look after the purchaser throughout the transaction.

I would recommend Chancellors Estate agents Newbury in particular their sales agent Lawrence Charles to anyone who are selling their property. He's a true professional and a genuinely nice guy. I realize it won't always be easy to sell your home but I think you'd be hard pressed to find a better person than Lawrence. Our house went under contract within a week after we put it on the market at 1% under asking price. Lawrence who was also incredibly friendly and helpful walked us through every step of the completion process couldn't have been a more pleasant experience. Selling a home can be very stressful. Throughout the past 2 months , Lawrence has been there every step of the way. He has always answered every call or email. His professionalism, mentorship, knowledge, honesty and hard work ethic are much respected and appreciated by me and my wife.

I visited several estate agent offices in Newbury and met several agents as I viewed different properties. Chancellors (and agent Sally Stevens) stood out for several reasons. I found Ms. Stevens to be extremely professional and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. I trusted her and the Chancellors team immediately, and never felt that they were trying to push me into a decision or use any obvious selling techniques. Rather, they enthused about the property, gave me time to consider, but when the time came to make an offer they negotiated swiftly and effectively on my behalf so that I felt I had a great property at a fair price. Throughout the sale process they kept themselves updated with how things were progressing and called me and answered my emails by return to offer help or advice. (Nicole Puckett at Chancellors Head Office was excellent in pushing the seller's solicitor for the information that was needed in order to complete the sale.) Buying a house can be extremely stressful but I was lucky to have found a property through Chancellors as they made the process transparent and human. I would recommend this company .
