A nice refreshing change to be able to deal with friendly and professional estate agent. Phil whom dealt with our sale was fantastic, He kept me informed of every step of the transaction. From our first meeting with him for Phil to value the leasehold flat for sale He gave invaluable advice as to how we should proceed. The flat itself was a Victorian house converted around the sixty's into 2 flats and converted in a quirky manner, as these were done back at that time. Feedback was provided by your-move following viewings which was helpful and questions were also relayed to us that were asked by the potential buyers with respect to a whole host of things such as the shared garden lay-out and so forth. This excellent line of 3 way communication I thought very professional. I can highly recommend Phil to any seller.

I sold a 2 bed flat in New Cross, South East London. Phil and the team from Your Move New Cross were very professional through out the process. Good communicators and pro active in chasing both the buyers solicitors and ours. We agreed a very fair fee rate, which was far more reasonable then any of the other estate agents that we met. We also found them to be open, honest and transparent. Qualities often not found in an estate agent! Phil himself has twenty years + experience of the South East London market and this was demonstrated in his thorough knowledge of our area and accurate and realistic valuation of the property. They seemed to have good connections with credible, no nonsense professionals and this helped us to gain a buyer who could really appreciate the character and value of the property we were selling. This in turn helped us gain a final agreed price that was very much in line with our expectations. A big thank you to the Your Move team and I would happily work with them again.

I have completed the sale of my flat. It has been a rollercoaster of a ride selling my Shared Ownership flat. Phil was the main driver in contacting Solicitors, Hyde Housing and the council when it was needed to get things done. His help and support and perseverance, is what made this sale possible. They showed me a property that wasn’t available, I paid them a holding fee with no explanation as to when how I get it back, they sent me a draft contract with the wrong address [It was for the restaurant below], they led me to believe they were managing a property that they weren't. As far as I’m concerned, Your Move New Cross is sneaky, duplicitous and you need to read under their tongues to view the small print pertaining to anything that comes out of their mouths. My housemates and I were utterly scammed by the letting agents at Your Move in New Cross. Marcus Lee and Marcel completely misled us about the state of the house and the furnishings. We signed a contract upon agreeing and confirming that certain refurbishments would be completed, and we turned up to a flat that resembled a building site. Furthermore, the flat was supposed to be furnished and it was completely empty upon arrival - not even a bedframe. Marcus gave me a key at the agency on moving day and told me the landlord would have the other two keys for my housemates, which was a complete lie. I turned up to a house full of mould, with a half broken front door and holes in the floorboards. The house was filthy and hadn't been cleaned as agreed whatsoever. We terminated the contract on that day, but it took us months to get our money back. The agency tried to blame everything on the landlord and vice versa, refusing to compensate us or give us our money back. We had to constantly call the central agency in order to finally get a reduced refund back. Both Marcus and Marcel were rude, patronising, and disregarding of how much inconvenience and stress they cause us. We were left without an apartment on moving day and had to stay with friends till finding a new apartment. Would not recommend whatsoever.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

Extremely poor post tenancy experience renting from landlord Jack Hardy. +6 weeks to receive a deposit, with this still being disputed. Your Move also incorrectly chased me for weeks for a rental payment which I did not owe. This did not appear to be a priority for letting manager Ben Hinton to resolve.

I have been dealing with Harry & Phil in the New Cross office. Whilst this should have been a straight forward sale it turned out to be more complicated than anticipated and had two lockdowns to contend with during the process. Both Harry and Phil kept a level head throughout, were very helpful and pro actively chased to deal with bottleneck as and when they occurred. It has been a very long journey on our way to owning a house in London, but James was with us every step of the way. We dealt with multiple estate agents during our search, as we started with finding a house on Rightmove/Zoopla then proceeding to contact them. But James in Your Move New Cross was a bar above the rest. He let us know when properties came in that actually fit our specifications ( rather than bombarding us with random properties) Gave us truthful information about the property, it's value and the circumstance of the seller. Was always available to answer our questions, book viewings, discuss with all relevant parties and work hard to ensure things moved forward. He works hard!! He was always on the button to action requests and take initiative to facilitate a great conclusion to any process.
