And how right he was !!! He was above board arranging viewings, keeping me updated with the outcome of each viewing. Every conversation with me, he kept my confidence up. The service he provided was in good faith and honest. No fuss at all. I am so grateful to David and everyone who contributed towards the sale of my house. Google“Over-Promise and Under-Deliver” Pros: The engagement with Martyn Gerard is generally professional, timely, and accommodating, particularly during the initial stages when you are browsing and considering properties. Cons: Where do I begin? The predominant issue is the lack of accountability and delegation. Referencing: Martyn Gerard employs a third-party service, Goodlord, for their referencing checks. Upon logging in, the level of scrutiny imposed feels almost invasive. In addition to providing three months’ payslips, employer details, current landlord information, and undergoing a credit check, I was also required to allow Goodlord to access my bank account for a supposed “one-time sync.” However, I discovered that this connection was continuous, prompting me to terminate it immediately. Following this, I was inundated with sales calls and promotions from companies associated with Goodlord. There is no option to opt out of this, and the marketing feels forcibly imposed. When I raised my concerns about this process, Martyn Gerard offered no solution, stating it was a third-party issue outside of their control. Check-in Process: Once again, a third-party company was used. Upon arriving for the check-in process, the agent had already completed it. Martyn Gerard was neither present nor did they confirm that the property was in the condition stipulated in the contract. No briefing was provided regarding the workings of the property or key items to be aware of. While this may not be a significant concern for some, it certainly did not sit well with us. Contractual Concerns: Their contracts heavily favor landlords, which is understandable, but I strongly recommend that tenants carefully review every revision of the contract. It is imperative to ensure the inclusion of a break clause. Martyn Gerard made changes to the contract, including subtle wording adjustments, without notifying or discussing them, which could potentially work against the tenant’s interests. When I raised concerns about certain contractual obligations, my calls were ignored, and I received no follow-up. At this point, after receiving the first month’s rent, communication from Martyn Gerard essentially ceased. It was clear that, in their view, I was no longer their concern. After speaking directly with the landlord, I discovered that Martyn Gerard had failed to communicate several important items to them as well. In my experience, Martyn Gerard added little to no value for either the landlord or the tenant during the initial stages, negotiation, or conclusion of the contract. This lack of responsibility and accountability is disappointing for both parties. For these reasons, 1 star was given and I will not be using Martyn Gerard for any future dealings

GoogleI was looking to sell my house and Daniel Millet was excellent in helping with the process. Everything from ensuring he understood the reasons for selling, all details of the house and setting out clearly what he intended to do to market the property. He also gave advice about the current market and realistic expectations, as opposed to some agents who promise the moon but then cannot deliver. GoogleI’m very happy to write this review about David Mitchell from the Martyn Gerard Mill Hill branch. I’ve just completed on my property and David was exceptional in his dealing of this deal. It was a process that took many months. David kept a calm head and was reassuring throughout the process. His experience and expertise was evident during the journey of this purchase. As this was my first property purchase, I was learning as we went along the way so it was good to have him on my team. Another great thing about David is that he is always proactive and liaising with the solicitors. Always relaying information back to me as soon as he was aware. Diligent, proactive, honest, hardworking, personable, transparent, determined are all words I use to describe David and his work. On top of that, everything is done with a level of care. Thanks for your help David.

GoogleI had been looking around at properties for some time and ended up walking into Martyn Gerrard on a whim earlier this year for a bit of a chat about what I'm after and advice on the property market etc. Dan Millet and Andre were incredibly helpful and professional, weren't overly pushy about anything or impatient and gave me some fantastic insights and recommendations for solicitors if I ever find what I'm looking for at the right price.

GoogleHi, as far as letting agencies go, Martin Gerard has been phenomenal, professional, friendly and understanding. The agents I liaised with (Gintare, Andrew and Lee) have been amazing! Gin went above and beyond to get a good deal between the landlord and myself. their properties are spacious, new, safe, in good areas and compliant to health and safety standards. their staff are great at follow ups, flexible, sending emails, and working with what i (the client) was looking for in a home.
