Bad experience!

I rented a furnished apartment through Michael Poole and it has been a really disappointing experience. The apartment was extremely dirty when I moved in (despite that wasn't reported on the inventory check), a wardrobe door was hanging broken and almost fell on me few times, multiple bulbs (including in the shower) were not working, a chair was broken too. Those problems should have been sorted before my move in, considering they knew about my moving a month before I got the keys.I had to change the bulbs and to fix wardrobe and chair by myself, because being lockdown they couldn't send anyone for a long while, and despite not “emergencies” I needed those things to be fixed, but none refund me for those jobs.When I left the apartment it has been told they would keep part of the deposit to put back in the original place old, dirty and rusty items I have moved in a cupboard because they were just taking storage space...of course everything I fixed/changed and the deep cleaning I had to do when I moved in it hasn't been even consider to refund me.I really would suggest anyone who is thinking to go through this agency to think twice, they are really unprofessional, if they act so poorly on letting I can not imagine the problems you could have during sales.

Little Trust for this Agent

As a purchaser I was lead to believe the seller had a strict deadline after which they wouldn't sell. The agent harassed us with daily calls and emails and we worked in good faith and quite hard to make sure we were ready. When our solicitor informed the other party with the required 3 days notice, it transpired that the seller's solicitor had not been made aware of this "deadline" and as a consequence wasn't prepared for the transaction. Turned out that the seller was fine with completing after the deadline and we still bought the house. This was either a huge failure in communication between the agent and her client or at the worst an intentional deceit to sell faster. I was purchasing other properties with this branch and I stopped answering their calls, we communicated through the solicitor and completed fine without the agent interference.

Shows how good you procedures are.But could explain why I'm still getting emails from you when I requested my details be removed from all you systems? I'm sure sure this is a breach of the regulations that the Information Commissioner would be interested in learning of.

First time buyer; buying a property through Michael Poole but using independent mortgage broker and solicitors! Andrea, Georgina, Connor and all others involved were very friendly and helpful throughout! Constantly striving for the best customer service and going above and beyond where possible; forwarding relevant documents to relevant people where necessary even if they technically weren’t required to; continually chasing up where necessary during a fairly lengthy buying time scale, and generally just keeping me well updated throughout the whole process! Highly recommended if you’re looking to buy a property; will make the process as effortless as possible! Thank you, couldn’t be happier! :)

Kind, helpful and efficient staff who where very accommodating throughout the process. Only caveat would be that as a first time buyer there where times when it seemed unclear as to what was happening and I felt that I had to call to get updates more often than I should have. More contact from Michael Poole's either via email or call would have been more beneficial to myself. I do appreciate however the multiple clients they must be juggling. Overall very happy with the service provided.
