GoogleTried for 10 days to get to see a rented property all calls went to head office who told me they would send an e mail for merthyr to contact me but no contact finally got through on Monday the 11th July arranged to view Wednesday the 13th July at 3.30 address would be sent on the day checked for address on the day no message tried to phone merthyr again no answer only going again to head office checked about the property only to find it advertised as let and no contact or message to tell me the property had gone had the branch had the decency to contact me when I tried to contact them over the previous 10 days I would probably taken the property and not be putting on this negative review

GoogleFor three weeks I have had the run around with regards to viewing a property to rent with them each time I have rung to sort out a viewing of a property I get told they will pass my details on and they will be in touch but I haven't heard anything off them. I even had my mother to phone them which took three attempts before someone answered her call and said they would pass my details on but nothing.

GoogleFor nearly 5 years we have been renting a property with Darlows. For the last two years we have continuously sent numerous emails, and made numerous phone calls to have a fence fixed at the back of the property, which was blown down by bad weather and is now almost completely over and is dangerous and still nothing has been done. Our neighbours are also frustrated because it affects their garden also. They have contacted our landlord about it as they know them, and told us that the landlord was under the impression that it had been fixed. Everytime we call the office, we never get a call back, every email we send is replied with promises of resolving the issue, but this hasn't been the case. A contractor was contacted by Darlows to liaise with us a few weeks ago, but now even he is failing to reply to our emails. The tenant support is absolutely appaling.

GoogleWe didn't find Darlows at all helpful when searching for a rental property (agent Kara Mor Obrien) . We were interested in a property in which the Darlows agent was keen for us to apply, which we did. It took a considerable amount of time for the referencing agency to gather the information required, but there wasn't any rapport with Darlows in the meantime, we just didn't know what was happening next. Further more, a CCJ was found against me..... from a BT disputed bill I received 9 years ago, which I knew nothing about !! We have impeccable references from past landlords, our pension providers and landords agents, yet Darlows advised the said property owner to dismiss our application. We lost an upfront payment of £168 due to this collapse, and the landlord lost excellent potential tenants. After contacting Experian and finding details of the CCJ, Overdales Solicitors advised the CCJ couldn't be cleared as my details were not recorded properly. It seems that both myself and the landlord lost out on this property (it's back up for rent), because your "COMPUTER SAYS NO" !! NB; one star given as this was the minimum I could give.

GoogleVery impressed with the overall experience with Darlows. After 8.5 months of looking for a place that would take a Cat, with various letting Agents, they came up with our house in 2 days. Communication can be slow sometimes, as we have had issues with call backs. The staff are lovely and so friendly. Well done DarlowsPositiveQuality, Professionalism

Terrible company. All they do is push their mortgage at the end of every conversation even though I blatantly told them I had used a personal broker. They've also gamified the system so that people who don't have a mortgage through them aren't given priority on viewings and open house offers. No sense of the individuals experience seeking their dream home just naked capitalism.

I just sold my house through Darlows. Had an excellent service first from Livvy and then Natalie. we opted for an Open Day and that was a huge success, with an extremely quick sale. The exchange itself took a little while but I was kept informed throughout of any issues and despite this it was stress-free. I would highly recommend Darlows and would certainly use then again. I have been dealing with Louise from beginning to end and because of my disability if I have needed anything all I would have to do and phone her and Louise would come to the house with everything including any paperwork I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants to sell their house the are the kindest people
