Louise was lovely, she was friendly and professional. She stepped in at short notice to do a valuation when her colleague who was booked to visit had to take sick leave. She arrived on time and despite having little time to prepare had acquainted herself with the history of the house and the surrounding area. She also provided an email valuation within hours of the visit as it was needed for a legal deadline. Excellent service.

I viewed a property today with Leighton from Darlows, and I wanted to share how impressed I was. His appearance was very professional, and his manner was both friendly and respectful. As we walked towards the property, I had several questions, and Leighton was able to clarify everything clearly and confidently. At the door, we removed our shoes, which I appreciated, it showed respect for the homeowner and demonstrated the level of care Darlows has for their clients. Once inside, Leighton gave me the space to look around and get a feel for the property, which is so important when deciding whether a home is right for you. He highlighted features I might have missed, including the temperature control in the living room that can be operated from your phone. The whole viewing felt relaxed, allowing me to ask questions freely and build a clear picture of where I am in the buying process. It also gave Leighton the opportunity to understand what I’m looking for in a home. Although I’m not new to buying properties, I’ve been renting for the past two years, and I’m now looking to get back onto the property market. This viewing was a really positive step, and Leighton’s open, professional approach made the experience genuinely enjoyable.

We have had mixed experiences with the team over our time with them and have often been left disappointed and feeling that things have been left unresolved or having had challenges in getting a response. Things have recently improved, and we had a a more positive experience with Georgia Murphy and the assistance she provided over the New Year period in getting an issue resolved at our rental property. She was extremely professional and maintained great communication ensuring that everything got resolved. It was great to finally have someone who was able to do the job as needed. Thank you Georgia! As a first-time buyer, I was understandably nervous about starting the property-buying process, especially going into my first mortgage-advisor meeting on my own with very little knowledge. Jake and Richard made the whole experience so much easier and far less intimidating. Jake has been absolutely brilliant from the very beginning, working around my work schedule to arrange a meeting with Richard. He has also been fantastic at finding properties that match what I'm looking for, and thanks to his help I have my very first viewing this weekend. Richard was equally fantastic during our meeting. He took the time to explain how everything works in a way that was easy to understand, which really helped put my mind at ease. They have been managing my property for more than a decade. Always, smooth sailing. Most recently, the dreaded failure of heating at the property. This was promptly repaired, heating restored. We then went on to replace the boiler. Quotes obtained, boiler replaced within a few days mostly due to the very efficient and helpful, Louise Pugh. Further addition to my review. Had the electrical system updated and Contract Renewal done last week with associated rent revision. Both done with utmost efficiency. I recently found a home for my mum, who has disabilities, through Darlows Estate and Lettings Agents in Merthyr Tydfil. As I live four hours away from my mum in Wales, I’ve had to manage everything remotely, which hasn’t been easy. However, Hollie Langmead has been incredible throughout this process. Hollie has been extremely accommodating, patiently handling our (what feels like) hundreds of emails and making sure everything went smoothly. Her knowledge & experience made the process feel seamless, and she’s always been upfront about dates, only giving us timelines once she was sure, which made planning so much easier. Hollie's experience with working with the council and environmental health was also a huge help. She has been working directly with them, keeping us well informed, explaining what actions were needed on our part and what her team would handle. I cannot voice enough how amazing the communication has been, and it's made a stressful situation far more manageable. We are so grateful for her support and would highly recommend Hollie.
