Disappointing experience

Disappointing experience. Partner went to view a house and was told the landlord wanted to choose someone that day. He was advised they would email everyone after the viewing and ask them to submit their details regarding whether they wanted the house, their income etc.We had no email. We called for an update, but there was none. We called again and asked for a call back that day as we were interested, but there was no call back. This went on for several days with no call back given as promised.Eventually the house was changed to 'agreed let' online so we called to ask what was going on. We were told that the landlord was still deciding and someone would be in touch, but they weren't. We chased again, but nothing.Eventually, we gave up as the whole process was frustrating and badly managed. I appreciate that things in this industry can change fast but that's no excuse for not keeping people in the loop. Clearly a very badly organised branch.

Ive driven hours from London to meet Louise P. at a propert in New Tredegar; although we were both there earlier we didnt know we were there til after the apoointment time I got out of the car to see if I can see a Darlows estate agent at which point she got out and was very well spoken. She showen me around the property, googled school, showed me nearest trsin st, answered all my questions and there was a lot of them, so overall very patient, resourceful, kind and patient! Stayed longer for a chat with the owner about the property which then made me late for my next viewing so I had to leave suddenly. Louise was simply wonderful!

The branch in Merthyr is very helpful. I am moving back to the Valleys in few weeks from abroad. It was really easy to book a viewing for my mam to attend. Everything well explained by Hollie and Kara and really good contact with them both. After the viewing my mam was offered to see 2 more properties. Very friendly service, patient and proactive. We booked a valuation on our property through Darlows Estate & Letting Agents in Merthyr Tydfil. My wife Karen on the off chance popped into the estate agents to ask for a valuation, Karen explained that we were thinking of selling our property & could we book a viewing. Well everything from start to finish was First Class. Sarah was prompt, Welcomed into our home and everything was a breeze, Sarah was professional, courteous, very knowledgeable and helpful when asked questions as we have lived in this property for over 22 years. She viewed the property thoroughly asking relevant questions, She told us in so much detail about the buying & selling process & the follow up. We are new to this and Sarah gave us a very positive feeling. Even though we are undecided on selling at the moment, After Sarah's visit, the valuation was a pleasant surprise. I believe that we have a very positive thought for both Sarah & fingers crossed...we may sell our home. 10/10
