DO NOT RENT WITH THIS COMPANY - They are a fraud company that had caused ALOT of stress. They gave us the property in a bad condition, then after we left made claims over over £1,000 claiming that we had left a lot of damage. Save your money - honestly. They have no interest in agreeing anything or discussing things with the tenant. They also gave us a dishwasher that was almost broken down, it was so disgusting it was falling a part from the inside. They did not properly de-weed the property before they gave to us then tried to charge us for it knowing we could not return it without any weeds. It's been the absolute worst experience in my life.

Fantastic!

Fantastic!Michael and Trystram gave us an awsome service and a great experience in letting properties. Although we were dissapointed at one time when a landlord let us down, the letting team (Mike and tryst) kept us in the loop with other properties and found us a lovely home for my family and I in less than a week later. Darlows brynmawr !! Rubbish customer service!!

Would like to start off by saying that before we had the keys to our house, Darlows were very responsive to emails, calls and queries. On the other hand, ever since we have received the keys, anything that we have asked, we have been fobbed off or ignored. We were told that the property that we have purchased would have any rubbish removed before we received the keys, but we have just spent 2 days cleaning out the attic and separating the rubbish to be disposed and we haven’t even got round to the outhouse or shed, which are both filled to the brim with rubbish. When cleaning out the attic, we found evidence of drug use in the form of a “grow tent” and 2 sharps boxes (dirty needles). Luckily, we found these and not our young niece and nephew who were there and excited to help us with our new house. We have contacted Darlows on 3 separate occasions since we found out that the property was still full of rubbish, each time we have either been ignored or told that we would be passed on and then contacted, we have not been contacted once. We have also been told that our boiler is brand new, but the boiler started leaking as soon as we turned the water back on in the house and no the attic floor, along with the ceiling and wall in the master bedroom are soaked. All in all, I would like to say that since Darlows took our money, they have done nothing but make our lives harder with the contact issues and calls being ignored.

If I could give minus 5 stars I would, this company is of course dealing with the property I am renting me and my partner and dog have lived in the property since March 2023, before we moved in we were promised by this company that there was going to be work done to the property before we moved in, as the previous tenants have left it in a poor state, there are nails sticking out of walls and mould growing on our kitchen floors and walls, there are water mark stains in our bedrooms doors falling off the frames, parts missing out of the carpet. As you can imagine it is not pleasant. We have tried to contact darlows on a million occasions but never seem to get a response after being promised that they would contact us with this matter. It has been nearly a year and all they have done is lie to us ignore/avoid us. We haven’t even received an inventory.This is a terrible company do not ever rent or buy of this company. We are now going to take legal advice and legal action as this is completely unacceptable.

Was told moving in date was the 11th of August. Only yesterday I was replied to by someone that had been off herself and unsure on the situation. Was told in the initial viewing all bills included to be told after I had paid the holding deposit this was not the case. Have been waiting for weeks for an electrician to go there to do an electricity certificate before I can move into the property, despite being assured this would all be done in time for me to move in the electrician is going to the property tomorrow. Unsure why a property was put up for let when it wasnt ready to be moved into and not knowing whether bills were included or not. The end of my tenancy for my current let is this Saturday and now have no where to go in the meantime. Very difficult to get answers or even hold of anyone. Certainly won't be using darlows again to rent and would suggest others look elsewhere first. Alot of unnecessary stress and the team aren't bothered that I have no where to stay in the meantime.

If I could give zero stars I would. Absolutely useless. I left an initial review based on a viewing but ever since I paid my holding deposit their absolutely impossible to get hold of. You ring the office, never gets answered, you get diverted to the central switch board and request a call back and nobody ever calls back. One day it took me 36 phone call attempts and 4 emails to get through to someone. If you expect any level of customer service or communication then avoid this company at all costs. I was told 3 weeks ago I'd be refunded for my holding deposit within 7 working days. Still nothing, and now once again I can't get hold of anyone to chase it. Absolutely disgraceful service from a company who simply couldn't care less. Can't stress enough, avoid this company.
