On recently requesting a viewing of a property from the brynmawr branch upon arrival we were greeted by a lovely warm welcoming smile and a friendly young lady introducing herself as jessica which put us at ease immediately as viewings can be cold and clinical, we found jessica to be very honest and open in answering any questions put to her and very informative of the area, clearly proud of the area and passionate about her job, was a real pleasure, thankyou kindly jessica, highly recommend

YellAppalling service, unresponsive and unreliable
An absolutely appalling company to deal with. They rarely respond to any queries and only seem interested in extracting maximum money for minimal work. Based on my experience I don’t know how they are still in business, it has been a complete and costly nightmare trying to deal with them. The lack of care shown is extraordinary and I would advise anyone to look for an alternative agent. I don’t think they deserve one star but it was the minimum I could give.

GoogleLouise showed us around 4 properties today. We are moving to Wales from the midlands and couldn’t be happier with the customer service we were given. All questions and queries answered in full. The properties were all well presented to a high standard. Communication with the estate agent in planning the visits was easy and convenient.

They are unable to do a simple house viewing..... After the viewing appointment was confirmed twice they didn't show up at the house when we called them we were told the agent is on his way to the house ..... Guess what after half an hour still nothing 😂 after two phone calls turned out the first agent was lieing because no one was coming.... I guess it is a LITTLE BIT unprofessional.... Thanks for nothing.Keep up the good work 😉

GoogleWe asked five or six agents to value our property in Merthyr. Darlows were by far the most expensive (twice the price of most agents) but gave our house the highest valuation and appeared very confident they could sell for the asking price or close to it. I can't comment on their ability to sell houses as they only ever managed to arrange one viewing in eight weeks. Despite several requests we never received a copy of the written details they promised to supply. We also had to point out several mistakes with the online text about the property. Darlows were also very poor at responding to phone calls and emails - we never got promised return calls on several occasions. At the end of the eight-week contract we swapped to another agent whose fees are literally half those of Darlows. The property was re-advertised at the same price. We had three viewings within a few days and agreed a sale that's - hopefully - now going through.

On our property viewing with Sarah her professionalism was 2nd to none, she answered all our questions and was a great help in helping us to negotiate with the seller & made a stressful time that bit more bearable. We were interested in purchasing a house through the Rumney branch. However, during the initial viewing, the individual showing us the property came across as condescending and lacked knowledge about the property. Despite making an offer, we experienced weeks of being misled with little to no communication. We were passed from agent to agent, only to be informed in the end that they had chosen another buyer who supposedly was "better suited", despite their offer being lower than ours. We are hardworking, earnest individuals with excellent credit scores and are not part of a chain. I think they have been very unprofessional and potentially even biast. Disgraceful!!!
