GoogleSaid they would send me confirmation email after booking a viewing never sent one so I didn’t know I had a viewing and then when I called for another property that is much cheaper said to me you had a viewing today and we called at 8 in the morning how am I meant know if I’d don’t receive any confirmation beforehand and then proceeds to ask what my situation like it’s her business. I earn enough to get the cheaper and the expensive property.
Edit: Your staff did not say I would receive a call she said she would send a confirmation email or text right after the call ended which she did not so as anyone would assume there would be no viewing. I did not receive any phone calls from the viewing as I was at work unaware there was a viewing sort your system out it clearly does not work .I called to book a viewing for one property this morning during my break and your employee was unnecessarily rude I did not cut the phone on her I actually called back straight after when the line dropped. And yes please do remove me as I don’t want to rent from incompetent people like yourselves your reviews speak for themselves.

Following your review, I wanted to reply to you to clarify We Let Properties side of your review;
When making a booking with We Let Properties to view properties, we will always verbally confirm at the time of the booking and inform you at this time we will call in the morning of the viewing to confirm on the phone and then send a subsequent email or text (depending on your preferred method) of the full address of the property, the agent you will meet and time of appointment, this is mainly for security for the tenant and this has always been our process.
As your appointment as for 10:30am today, I can confirm, I personally called you on three occasions this morning and left you two voicemails to confirm you could attend, to no avail and had no reply from you to confirm or cancel the appointment.
We subsequently received a call from you at 10:37 to book two viewings for properties in another areas, with different number of bedrooms, furnishing, parking requirements and varied move dates. As we have your profile on our system looking for a two bedroom, unfurnished, without parking in Manchester with an immediate move date and were calling about a one bedroom and two bedroom that are furnished, therefore my college was re qualifying your requirements to ensure we could offer you properties that match your criteria in this extremely busy market, however upon telling you that Ladywell Point (one of the other properties you called us about) had reached its quota for viewings, you placed the phone down on my colleague terminating the call.
I can confirm I have expired your profile on our system and wish you the best of luck finding a property.

GoogleReally disappointed with the way we were treated as tenants for the 2 years we rented through We Let Properties. The boiler didn’t work from the day we moved in, the estate agent claimed it wasn’t important because it was ‘the hottest summer on record’. We had a rat climbing through the walls through the outside pipes when they finally sent someone out 3 months later it had died within the wall cavities and there was a fly infestation coming through the kitchen. They said there was nothing they could do as it would have been too costly. We also had issues with the kitchen tap and fence which again took months to sort. We sent a maintenance report and emailed the estate agent if any problems occurred but the jobs were never fixed promptly. We have just received the news that we lost our disputed deposit with a cleaning fee of £262. One of the reasons being the carpets were not thoroughly cleaned at the end of the tenancy. These are the same carpets that were so old and worn, they cut the heels of our feet coming down the stairs.
I wish I read the other 1* reviews on here before taking a tenancy with WeLetProperties as they also say the agency take a huge chunk of their deposit and treat them with a lot less than a paying client deserves.

Following your checkout and subsequent deposit deductions and therefore leading to you writing a review, I wanted to clarify your points raised.
Issues do arise during a tenancy and I have looked at the four issues you raised during your tenancy period and I can see they were all actioned within the correct time frames.
I can understand your frustration in the dispute being awarded to your your landlord, as it's not good to lose funds, however please take comfort in knowing the Deposit Protection Service is government backed and that you escalated our claim to the arbitration an that it was subsequently reviewed by Deposit Protection Service and to quote their finding;
"When taking into account the type and size of the property and when considering the cleaning issues identified by the check out evidence, on balance, I am persuaded that the cost claimed is fair and reasonable. In the circumstances, I award the sum claimed of £262.00 to the letting agent which I find to be fair, reasonable and proportionate to the breach"
Please rest assured that We Let Properties or your landlord never want to make any deductions at the end of any tenancy.

GoogleMy partner and I have just finished renting a property with We Let Properties. We've been with them for almost 3 years and it's been so nice to have an easy, stress-free and pleasant experience. The property had regular inspections, any issues were sorted promptly, and all of the team were always happy to help with whatever they could. Sadly this isn't the norm with some letting agents, but We Let Properties genuinely are the best we have experienced.

We Let Properties is disappointing and unfair.
I have never lost money on a deposit before because I always leave my homes cleaner and better-maintained than I received them.
They charged us for cleaning issues that didn’t exist and for removing items that were already in the flat when we moved in, despite clear evidence. After waiting over a month, I had to accept their deductions under pressure because the alternative was waiting another 4-6 weeks for a DPS dispute.
They ignored evidence, removed only a small portion of their unfair charges, and dragged out the process, making it difficult for tenants to get their full deposit back. I have since seen many other reviews reporting similar experiences.
If you rent from We Let Properties, be prepared for a frustrating deposit return process. Based on my experience and others, they do not handle deductions fairly.🚨

In the end, I didn't sign on to one of their lettings (sorry), but they were extremely friendly, informative, and helpful throughout the entire process. Out of all the estate agents I've been in contact with, WeLetProperties have been the best overall and they will be my first choice of agents when I next move out.
Although I DID get trapped in a secure car park for about 10 minuets after the viewing! (That was not their fault, but the fault of whoever made the lift and auto-locking doors).

My husband and I are very dissapointed with this agency. We already had very bad reviews from other friends who had rented with them, but unfortunatelly, we didnt listen to their advice and decided to go ahead.
When we checked out, we hired a company to paint a wall and to sparkle clean the flat we were leaving and when they inspected the property they found a bit of dirt in the dishwasher and hired another cleaning company to sparkle clean the FULL FLAT again even though it was already super clean. They took £60 pound from our deposit for cleaning a dishwasher and when we tried to speak to them, they never answered our calls. Joanne was aways bussy or in another call (very rude and not a good service at all)
We also tried to contact the director of the company (Wayne) and didn't even answered.
BE VERY CAREFULL! They will always keep part of your deposit, not matter what.

During the tenancy she was hard to contact, surly with her responses and seemingly out to hold onto as much of your deposit as possible without good reason. Having charged me 10% of the deposit for a 'light clean' I disputed the fee with the DPS and they found in my favour. Overall.. could do better!

I've not had many issues with my flat, but the rare issues have been dealt with extremely quickly, with the team always being happy to help. For example, when the boiler went last winter, an engineer was sent out the same day!
