Apart from extremaly bad renting experience I must leave a comment about the owner’s customer service which is below any expectations. After waiting 3 months for our deposit, my husband has written a review on Seekers Facebook website. Next day he received a message from the owner of Seekers Maidstone - calling my husband „SILLY WANKER”!!! How bad is that!? You don’t even deserve a 1 star rating... I cant believe how an older man can write such an immature text... you should be ashamed!

Not even worthy of the time or attention for a review, it is important however to forewarn others who may be thinking of using this ‘agency’. No surprises that the owner/director, well passed pensionable age & shuffling pompously around the Maidstone branch would be so obscene & abusive towards clients as per the high number of appalling reviews across the internet in addition to mine & my partner’s own unpleasant renting experience. For reasons which will become obvious our names have been withheld. Threatening, abusive & highly aggressive in particular towards females as witnessed by his conduct towards my partner, this malicious individual (& not the landlord) was the cause of our many issues, too long a list to document here. The only reputation this agency has is that of extreme unprofessionalism, high staff turnover with numerous sackings taking place during our tenancy period alone, & alarmingly high levels of damning customer reviews. The army of people leaving truthful negative reviews are mocked, called liars or trolls or told they are simply not known to Seekers & laughably threatened with legal action & other empty scaremongering tactics in a typically cowardly & bullying manner as if anyone in authority would take this character seriously in the first instance with his record of abuse. The more people that expose this highly disturbed individual the better. Unfortunately this deranged man-child has no control over himself let alone anyone else & clearly has no issues with frequent displays of public self-humiliation. An utter embarrassment to himself & others. It is hoped he soon finds the carer & the urgent medical attention that he so desperately requires. Needless to say any laughable counter comments (which will remain unread) will be exactly that, empty threats & words of no value from a shambolic clown with zero credibility & someone so very obviously not right in the head. AVOID.

I have to phone Seekers Homes to confirm an appointment. That I had phoned them about a few days before. All of this been told to me about 5 mins away from viewing the property on a freezing cold night & being sick at the same time. I have dealt with 3 other estate agencies. All who phoned me a day before to confirm the appointment. I wrote to Seekers about this & no one got back to me. I can not believe that their customer service is that bad to tell a customer this. As well as not to get back to them.

We work with Seekers Maidstone, covering all of their properties with our services. I cannot pass comment on renting and landlord matters, as this is not our area of expertise, however, all of the staff at Seekers are extremely helpful and cannot do enough to assist you. Sam Belsom in particular is fantastic, if you have an issue, you can ring Sam and she will move heaven and earth to make it happen. Feedback from most of the tenants that we work with, is very positive and on many occasions, any required works are authorised and completed the very same day that they are reported. Friendly and efficient staff who surpass my expectations of good letting agents. 5* review without hesitation.

My first time renting private . From start to finish the support and guidance from all the staff made the whole process easy . Have now been in my property for coming up to a year and am so happy to renew my tenancy and carry on enjoying the peace of mind of renting from seekers . All The staff are extremely helpful , nothing is to much trouble. Always happy to help. Seekers repair service is great . Issues are dealt with very promptly by professional tradesmen . Would definitely recommend Seekers and can not thank the staff enough .

Misleading information with regards to…

Misleading information with regards to payment required before actual renting a property. When it turns out this property was not required we asked for a refund as we had been confused by the reason for 2 payments being taken (actually not legal anymore!) However not only was this refused but the tone of the email we received from Nigel Harvey (Director) was neither professional or courteous & was in-fact rather aggressive demanding we apologise to them for the fact we felt mislead & had misunderstood their rather confusing mixed messages from the verbal feedback we were given by their staff. Not to mention the fact he didn’t show the good grace to spell our name correctly or indeed check the grammar on the email he sent us. A thoroughly disappointing communication from a customer service point of view. Not recommended unless you want to be made to feel awful when already in a vulnerable position.

After a quick sale on our flat, my husband and I had a week to pack up and find somewhere to rent for six months, all with a small dog. Seekers were so helpful and understanding and after speaking to them one Friday, we were in a flat close to town by the following Friday afternoon. We cannot thank them enough and only wish that we had sold our flat through them as well. I thoroughly recommend them.

I wouldn’t normally spend time for leaving a feedback, especially negative, however I felt very disappointed and treated extremely unfair. and I decided to share with the potential clients my experience and I can see many other people will relate to this. If I could give - 0 stars I would. I just started at my new job, very stressful time, and me and my family were informed after 5 years of privately rented property that we need to leave as the new owner who bought the house recently is planning a major refurbishment that wouldn’t allow us to stay in the flat in few months. Long story short, a Seekers agent responded to my viewing request via telephone call and confirmed via text message to view my very first property in years. You can collect only imagine my excitement and anxiety so I left my work earlier (One of the little privileges of being a Manager) and I drove all the way to Maidstone from Croydon to ensure I would be on time (2hours drive on the Motorway in traffic). I was at the property 10mins earlier and went to buy myself a coffee. I stood outside the property and I waited 10-15mins, messaged them back to let them know that I am at the property, but the message wasn’t delivered so I called them in the office. The first time no one answered. On the second time of calling them, I was told that the viewing "may have been cancelled" and the guy on the other side of the phone was going to “check”. I’ve patiently waited, then he said that definitely the viewing was cancelled, but not clear who cancelled it??? I then have tried to speak to the guy, as calm as possibly I could be in this horrendous situation that I put myself into and I told him this is not possible as I remind him that I called earlier to confirm my attendance, I even tried to explain that I left earlier my work to make it on time, but the guy (obviously heard my story so many times as this is definitely happening on a daily basis) did not even let me finish what I had to say, rudely said that this is what is happening and they can’t come, whould I like to rearrange the viewing? It’s a joke! Who on Earth whould put up with this AGAIN, unprofessional, rude, unethical, utterly disgusting behaviour!? Not me! Thorough waste of time and totally unaware of what their purpose is ! Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.

Only 1 star because I can't put 0. No respect, liars, scammers, will do anything to get money from you, won't contact your landlord when you ask them to, won't repair anything and will let themselves in your house whenever they feel like it to take pictures of your home, regardless of whether or not you have children. Not just my opinion, many friends/ family have said the same and family members have rented elsewhere because of how their friends/ family have been treated. We have waited literally YEARS for most of our repairs and they always get forgotten about because the staff is always changing, moved out before the end of our tenancy because we couldn't bare them anymore.

Incompetent service poor response time. Clearly need to hire/train more staff to deal with your portfolio more effectively. Once money taken no "lettings management", at all or contact from numerous attempts. Place had so many issues from previous tenants which should have been resolved. I do hope the owner is aware of how hideous he/she is. It would have been easier to buy a house then re-sell it in the 3 months that the property had been let. Inaccurate inventory comments when trying to get deposit back, property is cleaner and better than when moved in. shouldn't even get a star rating.

I've never felt inclined to give anynody a 1 star rating... Until now! Seekers are appalling! The estate agent never turned up to our appointment. We weren't offered an explanation, we weren't warned of cancellation, nor did we receive a phone call to say the agent would be late - we were just left high and dry. Utterly unprofessional and, generally, just poor etiquette. To give context, we had driven over an hour from our current place of residence and scheduled several other viewings in the area; the last of which finished at 1pm. We hung around on the gloriously sunny bank holiday weekend, wasting time before our appointment at 3.40pm, only to be stood up. An absolute farce. Tried calling the office over 15 times before they shut at the advertised time of 4pm, but nobody picked up... We suspect they went home early to enjoy the sunshine without a second care about prospective tenants, from whom they may have gleaned a nice commission. Looks like the joke is on you though, Seekers. ANOTHER scathing review to add to your growing collection, and you're out of pocket as we WERE quite keen on the property; not any more - brand trust is completely lacking. Manners cost nothing but are worth everything!

Recently dealt with Seekers as a tenant. I found all the staff i dealt with to be very helpful. My situation was a little complicated, but Kym couldn't have been more patient or professional. I was kept up to date with each stage of the procedure and my queries were answered promptly. I was given all the help I needed to secure my rental property, and I was very happy with the outcome and the service I received. Unfortunately as a tenant in their property I can't say the service is good. Emails go unanswered. And today I came home to find an agent from Seekers leaving the property with prospective tenants, without giving me any notice or warning. The place my daughter and I currently call home has had strangers walking around it. Charming !

I have recently started renting via seekers, and i must say they were one of the most helpful real estate I had met while searching for a property to rent and helpful within the paperwork and ensuring we know all the information. They were the only real estate agent to not look down on us, we were 3 people looking for a flat and they seekers were the only one who gave us a chance. With our age they once never spoke down to us like we was different to other people. We had found the perfect flat through them and they went through every channel to ensure we was moved in swiftly. Certain people were helpful and are maintaining to be more helpful as the days go on, ensuring us and helping us with any questions we have. I reported issues with the property soon after i moved in over 1 year ago which have yet to be fixed, i have also had to get new keys cut due to the lock on the door being very tempermental twice, despite having reported issues such as damp, rats in the walls, broken/frayed rope on the windows, heating not working, paint peeling off the walls and windows and the contractors coming out twice to quote and given the all go by the landlord despite reporting this several times over the year period, nothing has been repaired. I have been into the store and have been told i would receive a phone call or they will get in touch with the landlord but never get back.
