James showed us a property in Maidenhead. We didn’t end up buying it for other reasons but he was an excellent agent, had all the information we needed at hand and if didn’t know, got back to us. He was professional and took his time to take us round the property and answer any questions. He also gave good advice and was very polite. I’ve seen several estate agents and so far, he’s the most helpful and friendly one. Highly recommend.

Our experience with the Romans Lettings department was fantastic from beginning to end. From the moment we viewed our property of choice, to getting the documentation completed (with help every step of the way from Matt Thompson who was absolutely amazing!), to finalising everything and even checking in on us prior to our move date, we couldn't have been looked after any better. We interviewed 5 local agents for the sale of a property in Maidenhead. At first Romans’ was’nt on our list.However their sale board activity in the area was very strong. Josh Aylott turned up promptly with a member of the auction team to enable us to consider how best to sell.Josh had very calm efficiency about him & always courteous & kept us updated during the sale process. We opted for a straight sale & an offer was made within 3/4 weeks.We accepted with a competitive commission rate and overall the service with Romans was very good. We recommend without hesitation.

I am renting a property from Romans Lettings Maidenhead Office, all processes went smoothly and was given the Keys as Promised in time. After about 6 months, I was in urgent need of a letter from Romans for Visa purposes, Mr.Saad Mushtaq Kindly helped me get this letter just in time. Appreciate his effort in providing this letter in such short notice, though I was not a new Customer ! Definitely Recommend Romans Lettings for Renting or Buying !

Firstly, I would of liked to rate a half star but google would not let me. Absolutely disgraceful, as a first time renter my partner and I have been saving up for months now. We paid our deposit in time, despite them knowing our full criteria they said everything would be alright. They led us on to then fail one of our references, keeping the full amount of our deposit. When we contacted our work places, their referencing company hadn't even rang them to check or verify anything! The home we were planning on renting was titled "Perfect Starter Home".. They then proceeded to ask for a guarantor, their guarantor demands are outrageous, they want a UK home owner, if they rent they have to earn 30x our rent and 30x my guarantors rent this equals to over £85.000. THIS DOES NOT HELP ANY FIRST TIME RENTER AT ALL, the lady on the phone was rude and did not care at all that they were keeping our HARD EARNED deposit money. THANKS FOR PUTTING US BACK TO SQUARE ONE ! Hope your business does well scamming young couples off, enjoy my money. Kind regards, Isabella Hidalgo

Didn't take notice of our notice for termination of tenancy so didn't book in the check out clean, and when this was raised by our landlord it was claimed we were moving out a month later. Checkout booked in, when we rang to confirm this so we could rearrange work commitments and childcare to attend we we told the email was wrong and the check out was taking place a day later than stated on the email. We attended at the time provided and nobody showed up. A shambles all round and I would avoid using if I were renting out my property

Romans Maidenhead are brilliant, from the initial valuation and close consultation on marketing the property. Their whole team made a visit to understand the property and asked the rights questions to help the sale progress. Excellent communication to align viewings, consultants we always early to greet potential buyers. It didn't take long to sell. We used Roman's partners Manor Hall Law to complete the conveyancing. their tracking system is brilliant and appear to have the same customer services ethic as Romans Maidenhead. Thanks to the whole team!
